Great value, reliable and effective alternative to Epson ink and much cheaper. These cartridges last me a long time with the XP7100. Highly recommend

These Epson XP- 900 cartridges are good just make sure you don’t get confused by the labelling it’s different to Epson originals, but they do fit correctly. The printer will tell you that they are not originals but just press continue and all works ok.

Good value for price

Not yet used all the cartridges yet but have put the first set of the 3 sets in my Epson XP640 and so far all is good, you do get a message on screen to say the cardridge is not genuine but the printer stills prints, having used these before you get a good yeld from them I did compare them against the genuine product and these last about two thirds the life of the original type but when you see the price paid it's then you see the true value, a full set of Epson cartridges just over £50 for 1 full set, you get 3 full sets for £22 so they are good value even if they don't last quite as long as the original ones, I have not noticed any difference in print quality

Print quality awful. Striped. Missing magenta. Carried out numerous print quality checks and cleans. The magenta was initially the worst with lots of blanks in the pattern. Replaced the magenta with a new one. Same thing happed with the new magenta, but also the big black and some of the others. Each time I carried out the print check and clean and the same thing happened, but with different colours. Each time it takes several minutes. Replaced individual at first and then the whole set, and the same thing happened. Out of desperation, as my daughter had come over to do a lot of printing, late on a Saturday afternoon the only cartridges available were the Epson small capacity cartridges. It cost me £100 for a set. Ouch! Almost the cost of the printer. The prints were perfect! Print pattern also perfect! I have since noticed several reviews with the same problem with these cartridges in the same printer. So either the cartridges are not compatible from an ink point of view, or the printer deliberately prints badly when it recognises that they aren't Epson original cartridges. I suspect that it's the later as the printer printed correctly with the Epson cartrages and there was no delay for the other ink to work it's way through. I have bought some other non-genuine cartridges. I will find out when I have run out of the Epson cartrages. Which I hope will not be soon, after paying so much for them. I have never had an issue with non-genuine cartridges before, but these are just awful and unusable- what a waste of money. It would be useful if anyone has had any success with non-genuine cartridges.

Good quality ink substantially cheaper than Epson, but quality not a problem

Most of the colours work but the black does not work as the ink does not contain a special lubricant which is needed for Epson printers so it clogs and I am unable to print normal black ink. Like I said the rest work including the photo black its just the large black ink. My printer is a xp 7100.

Using these ink cartridges for our XP-630 printer has been great over the many many moths of use. We have printed lots of std A4 prints and smaller photos. all looking good. No problems if the printer is left standing for weeks, just as good when using the next time. It is useful tho to print a page occasionally to ensure the ink within the print head does not dry up. Fitting is easy. Sometimes a warning is given from the Epson software about the cartridges, just clicking "continue" and all is well. No faults, no issues. Just works and saves money. Hope this helps.
