I spent a lot of time trying to find this replacement bar. The vacuum it was for still had strong suction and once the bar was replaced, it worked like a new vacuum. I'm glad I didn't just throw it out and buy another one. Just to note, the style does look a bit different from the original. Where the belt wraps around isn't quite the same but it does indeed work. It doesn't travel despite the edges not being as high.

It doesn't list it, but this part will fit a 6590-W wide power trak vaccum cleaner. I went solely by part number I got off a website to make sure this was the correct part. The description says it's 15 inches, but in reality the actual measurement is 14.25 inches the same as my original part. I'm guessing they just round it off and call it 15 inches? This part fit exactly like the old one did. Only thing wrong with my old one was those plastic end caps, somehow they got hot enough to melt some, then they no longer worked right, it caused the brush to run out of round, which in turn created enough vibrations the belt refused to stay on, it kept walking off the motor shaft. Part works good, vaccum is real quite now and brush spins up smoothly. Even with new brush roller bearings like I had in mine, once those end caps go bad, the entire brush is useless, and near impossible to fabricate replacements. Great replacement part, easy to install and way cheaper than a new vacuum cleaner.

I have a Bissell Powerforce Turbo Rewind upright vacuum p/n 1797. Recently it developed this terrible sound like a chainsaw when I turn it on. Clearly not a motor issue and still had good suction; noise went away when the roller brush wasn't engaged. I decided to replace the belt and the noise remained, found that I could hear bearings moving in one end of the roller brush when I shook it. Found this using the part number and it's worked like a charm, no more chainsaw noise. Seems really sturdy, fits in my vacuum perfectly, and bonus points that the brushes are all dark colored instead of bright green and white like the original part. The part came and I installed it today so I'll amend this in the future if I feel anything noteworthy happens with it.If your vacuum is making a noise like a chainsaw, definitely investigate your roller brush before you just buy a new vacuum.

my bissell vacuum has been great for 7 years, so of course i would buy OEM product the manufacturer recommends. you won't be sorry buying thisarrived very quickly too5 stars

... fit older not listed to my enjoyment ... this OEM definitely of better quality than available knock-offs for just a few dollars more ...

I was looking for a new brush roll. Mine starting scraping really bad at where the belt connects to the roll. The all bearings inside the brush wheel got off kilter at some point and I saw someone with a similar vacuum to mine replace theirs without issue. My vacuum I think might be the pet model (not the swivel one, but for whatever reason it isn’t called the pet hair model idk) but letting y’all know it fit, it works, no more clanking or scraping of plastic. I’m really glad this replacement part fit
