Love
I’m 5’4 130ish and I got a size 2 in these. I love them. I usually buy men’s stuff but sometimes I can’t get it small enough and these definitely fit better/are more flattering. The material is pretty thin so I don’t know how long they’d last you if you actually work in the trades, but they’re super comfortable and awesome for me for weekends.

Amazing but leg length was off for shorter legs
The quality was great and it fit my waist well. I am petite with a longer torso than legs so they are too long for my legs but that could be hemmed or hopefully longer with boots. I got two pairs! I have gotten shorts from this brand before that fit perfectly as well. The color was the same as pictured.

Comfortable work pants but sizes are a little small
These are my ideal work pants. I'm a maintenance tech for an apartment complex and I often have to carry tools in my pockets. These aren't like womens usual pockets where you can't fit anything in them. I can actually fit my phone as well as several hand tools in my back pockets without them falling out. They are light weight which makes these great for the summer but may not be ideal for women that have to work outdoors in colder weather. The pants are loose enough for making it easy to move around but not so baggy that I trip over them. The only cons when it comes to these pants are that they seem to fit smaller than most pants for me. I'm usually a size 14 but these wouldn't fit me at all at that size. I had to get these pants a size larger to wear comfortably. The other issue is that when I ordered the yukon color through Amazon they were a darker color than the ones I had ordered through carhartt's website several months ago. This doesn't really bother me but it may bother other people. The only issue I have with the colors is that the coal color is less gray than I thought it would be and it seems to have a slight purple-blue hint to the color. Again nothing major but I would have preferred a more gray color. I have these pants in every color available and would love if there were more colors offered.

Runs Large!
I am 5'3" and 128 lbs give or take with a mom belly. I have a straight figure. I am pretty much always a small and a size 6, every now and then a size 4. So, I started with a size 6 in the grey - It was HUGE on me! So, the smallest size I can buy is a 2, so I tried it. The waist was still a little loose and length was still long but I decided to keep them. After a couple washings, they have shrunk and fit just right. If the pant legs were a little more slim and shorter, then they would be perfect, but for now they are some of my favorite pants. I really appreciate the side thigh pockets! I can sit comfortably with my phone in one of those pockets. So far they seem okay for Florida but I haven't endured the summer months yet.As a side note, I tried buying the black pair in a size 2 but when I tried those on, they were too tight.....so I really am unsure about the consistency of Carhartt sizing. I also tried the professional slim pant (different style altogether) and ended up with a size 6 khaki color. I don't like those as much because they are more polyester (hot) and only one side pocket but they do look like a more professional pant - material is kind of shiny. They do fit well - still long on me even though I bought the short version.

Good work pants
I love that I can fit my radio in one of the side pockets. I could even fit my phone in the pocket behind my radio, but Im afraid I'll crush it. I like ve that all the pockets are functional, none of those "looks like a pocket" but isn't. The fabric is tough and moves with me through the various pulling, pushing, squatting, lifting maneuvers that are my work life.I feel like they run big. I exchanged the first pair for a size smaller and am hoping the second pair shrink it the drier at least a half size more. I'm 5'3" and around 115#. For me the size six short works, but they sag a little. They will probably be perfect in winter over long johns and my more ample winter frame. Will absolutely buy again, maybe in size 4.Also, the tag says made in India if you care about that.

Not what I expected
I wear, on average, a size 18 in womens pants.I had to order these in a 22 because the 18s must have been at least 2 sizes too small. These are too big. That was to be expected, that's fine. But I can't actually order a 20 because then the middle of the thighs will be far too tight.LOVE the color though. Perfect for digging around in the sand and dirt. They aren't as thick as I was expecting either, I need something that can withstand palmetto and branches and accidentally hitting myself with a saw, but these feel very thin and like they'll tear as quickly as a pair of leggings.

Durable and comfortable!
These are my favorite pants! I own five pairs, which I wear to work. They are comfortable and I love the loose fit. They're pretty flexible, and they come in short sizes that are actually short and fit me (I'm 5'1")! The pockets are amazing and fit a lot of stuff. I can put my hand in the front pocket all the way to my wrist easily. These pants have held up really well, and have not torn or frayed AT ALL when different pants would have. The color does start to fade the more they're washed, but I'm also out in the sun every day, too. They tend to stretch a little with repeated wearing, but then go back to normal after washing. I always hang them up to dry. They also don't stain easily. If you're looking for comfortable and durable work pants, I highly recommend these!
