Great flavor
Like a he spice level of the molded. Hot is good in small amounts for me. I am a wimp with hot foods. Love both on chicken

Good stuff, poorly packaged.
The 5 stars is for the jerk seasoning itself. Both the mild and hot are pretty darn tasty. But... as others have mentioned, there is no seal (canning pop when you first open a jar) at all, so it's like they have already been opened. Makes you not want to use the jerk. Plus, without that good seal, the jars leak and arrive kinda messy. There's a plastic safety wrap around the top, but it doesn't really prevent/help anything. Fortunately our jars survived the journey without breaking or cracking during shipping. They were poorly packaged, jar on jar (glass to glass) with no bubble wrap separating them. A few easy changes and this stuff will rock!

the benchmark for Jerk seasoning. Hot is Very HOT and Mild is hot. This is the Benchmark Brand
Burns yummy in the tummy. If you like Jamaican heat, a couple of tablespoons of seasoning mixed in oil will make a dinner for four hot and bothered. Onion, fresh unprocessed meat, Walkerswood, and sweet fresh red and green peppers and dried figs or other dried fruit make for great combinations and satisfying meat dishes. This Gringo loves heat, and recommends this kind of heat for anyone with a cold or flu. TexMex meets Jamaican Jerk for some Yankee tears and clear sinuses. This is not a joke. If in doubt, get the mild jar, which is still wonderfully hot-spicy. This is not a BBQ slop sauce. Jerk is Jerk and BBQ is BBQ with very different flavor profiles.

Spicy but good.
Among other spices this is really good. I put about a tablespoon of the Hot and spicy on my lamb chops and it was just right, they came out really good. (Second time using it). I put TOO MUCH of the mild on some oxtails and man was they spicy. 😂 The jars were broken, I guess I got lucky, and they last a long time so it’s worth the price. (Bought June 22) Definitely can make it stretch for a good year if it really last that long.

Great product… packaging my be faulty
I love this product!! However our 2 pack did arrive with one that leaked. It looks like the plastic wrap on the lid did not hold. You can see that the liquid inside leaked out and there is a space. Be aware yours may arrive like this. The product that was safely useable is amazing! Used to be at world market but after a long search this was my only option.

Jar broken
Unfortunately one of the jars was delivered broken and there is no way for my order to be returned, replaced or refunded.

Delicious
Everything I have tried from Walkerswood has been great. Tastes as amazing as it smells. The spicy does not disappoint. The right amount of heat without losing the flavors in the background. Great additive to the filling for patties too. Love their green seasoning as well.

I thought this was a powdered spice when ordering but it turned out to be a paste marinade. One jar goes a long way - we marinated about 2.5kg of chicken wings overnight and got lots of compliments from guests at our BBQ. Beware though, even the mild was pretty spicy!!
