It works but

For the price, there is not very much in this bottle. It is good polish, though.

Flaked off

We used this on my kid's skates. You are better off buying covers instead. The polish is flaking off and taking the original polish with it.

Doesn't match as well as it should

Not a great match and all the polish marks easily show. I was disappointed that the color was not a perfect match being as this came from the boot manufacturer. For $20 for a tiny little bottle, it should match perfectly. It's like trying to touch up my skates using nail polish that is a shade or so off.
