Super Antenna TW1 Telescopic Whip 3/8-24 for MP1 Ham Radio Antenna 44 inch

Fits in a standard CB antenna mount, but it's a telescoping antenna. Was able to use this in my tractor's factory antenna holder so the FM radio works without interference from my aftermarket antenna mount. It previously had a CB antenna in the mount and because they were so close together, and the CB antenna is tuned to CB frequencies, it caused huge interference with the radio. This cured that.

I am happy with this antenna. This antenna can be be tuned to transmit between 60 to 440 MHz, and it could receive on 20 to 1300 MHz. It could also receive those strong local local AM radio stations 530 to 1700 kHz, and receive strong shortwave broadcast stations 3 to 20 MHz.

I liked it while it worked, but for $24 and only using it for 3 months, it literally came apart and I lost the locking piece on the bottom section that allows it to remain extended. It's useless to me now and very frustrating.

This portable antenna is a quality product. Well build and a good design. Looking forward to making many contacts with it!

Beware of the quality of this antenna as I have received two consecutive orders in which the TW1 had defective or incorrect male threads. The antennas would not screw into a 3/8-24 socket!

purchased new, arrived in sealed package...what i received was a dented, defective antenna... i have an original version, and let me tell all of you, that the 'new' SuperAntenna telescopic is *nowhere* near the qualitya cheap, poorly made imitation and not work five bucks, let alone what is being chargedthe insult was shipping a defective antenna ...does the manufacturer really think consumers are this stupid? never again!
