Gordon's Chesapeake Steamer Size Whole Ocean Cocktail Clams 15 oz.(Pack of 12)

I'm a clam-lover from childhood, and these clams are the best I've found for making various dishes -- from chowder to sauce for pasta, or stews with other seafood. The pieces are large enough to have real clam flavor ('clam strips' have no place in my life), but they are tender enough (presumably pressure-cooked) to be great for soup or sauces. A little pricey, especially with shipping, but a treat I need to allow myself fairly frequently.

Just received my 12 pack of Gordon’s Ocean Clams and was thrilled the package arrived safely with no dented cans or past due BB dates.These clams are pricey for sure but the quality is excellent as is the taste.And I appreciate the care in packaging and sending good BB dated cans!EXCELLENT! I just opened a can which I bought back in 2020 during COVID preparations. So they store well. This is a really great clam product. Heat ever so gently, serve with melted butter. I live in a non-clam environment, so this is the best I can get, and it's pretty darn good way to scratch the itch. Recommend.

These *are* expensive, but I'll be buying them again! I use chopped clams for the base and these to finish off my clam sauces or soups. The clams are really delicious....so....if you love clams and need convenience, get them.They did come individually wrapped in newsprint and several cans were dented, but not so badly I was concerned.

The clams are smaller then they used to be. We have been ordering these clams for years. The size of this batch (and we ordered a case) are half the size as they were previously. And the price has gone up dramatically! Although, they are still very tender.

They stopped carrying these at my local supermarket. I can only find them online. I hope they are not being phased out!

I was initially reluctant to write a review about these, because I didn't want them to become too popular. These are by far the best canned clams I've ever had. They are large, fresh and delicious. They are now a key ingredient of my paella.

Yes, they’re pricey but they’re the BEST canned clams. Whole, not chopped, not gritty … the best choice for clam chowder or stuffings. Pull the trigger and try them. You won’t be disappointed!
