American Apparel Women's Metallic Halter Catsuit

I am usually a size XS-S. I ordered an S and it was a perfect fit! I have pretty long legs, so I was pleasantly surprised that it reached my ankle. Very comfy on the inside. Some things to know about this. None of these are complaints, just things to know about this before you buy it: - Since the material is metallic, it will squeak when rubbed together or rubbed on another vinyl-like material or surface. - The material also isn't breathable, so you will sweat in it. - There is no padding around the chest area, so you may want to get some silicone nip covers/something like that.

American apparel used to have very good merchandise. Quality of this bodysuit was so cheap it started peeling. I had my jean jacket wrapped around my waist for 4-6hours. By the time I removed my jacket off my waist, the area around my butt was completely peeled!!! The material def felt thin at first but still decided to wear it. Wow, Eye Candy and a funny story! I have never seen material like this before and when it arrived I must have stared at it for 3 days before I found an excuse to wear it since late October in Ohio isn't exactly ideal for this item but I decided to put a long fuzzy off the shoulder sweater over it and just go for it and wore it to work because I really wanted to show it off. So,, when I got to work at the mall where I own a discount shop in, everyone was dressed for a Business Halloween Party that I had forgotten all about and everyone assumed I had dressed as a "Working Girl". I played along but I was rolling inside.. But here is the important stuff: 1. I accidentally ordered a small and at 5'5 160 pounds I am not a small but it fit great- it has incredible stretch and while it was tight it was decent to wear in public. 2. My mom decided to wash some clothes at my house the next day and she picked this and some other things up out of my laundry and threw them in with her clothes to make a full load and she washes everything in Hot/Cold- High Heat dry- it's a habit she won't ever break. So mine will never look the same again. The shiny effect is gone and it looks ugly & splotchy now. It’s basically a plastic jumpsuit. Feels weird right out of the bag but stretches and is more forgiving than I imagined. I’m 5’4” and the length of the S is fine. I’ve got saggy mom-boobs that might benefit from a tighter halter but it also goes up my butt. I’m wearing underwear in the video, but might forgo underwear to avoid lines. Overall, it’s cute for what it is but it’s also not great. I imagine that I won’t be able to wear it more than a few times. For reference I’m 5’4” and 117-120lbs.

I love this thing. I love it. It sat in my closet for a long time after I bought it cos I was scared. I was like "where am I going to wear this?" I'll tell you. I wore it grocery shopping and I felt like a glam rock super hero. It's my new favorite outfit. I feel gorgeous. I feel powerful. I'm 125 lbs, 5 ft... I got a small. It fit ok, but it's long in the legs. It's not it's fault. I'm really short. Anyways, just get it. It's fun. It's a fun little thing. I want 5 more in every color.

I'm 5'7" 227lbs 40 D size 14/16 I purchased this to wear under a Halloween costume thats a little too sheer. Did it take a little wiggle to get into it? YES but it did go on and once on was comfortable. Because I went with a large it sucked everything in. Yes there were some rolls but with a long shirt and some heels its amazing and I would wear it out. Its stretches just enough and doesn't sheer out anywhere. Very happy with this purchase!

I thought this bodysuit fit pretty good. It was super sexy on, and although it wasn’t the stretchiest (if you’re on the more curvy side) it still fit really snug and accentuated my curves. The downside was the material peeled the first night of wearing it out; therefore would not recommend, unfortunately. Super bummed because I only got the one wear out of it. I’m 5’3 , 133 lbs and got a size xs; maybe sizing up would have helped but wouldn’t take the chance because literally didn’t barely do anything while wearing and the whole butt area peeled off

It was very cheap quality. By the end of the night all the sheerness had ripped off. One time use not worth the price!
