BPURB Colonial Costume Boys 18th Century American Costume

We ordered this BPURB Colonial Costume for my son’s Literature Day at school, and it was absolutely perfect! The outfit looked authentic, fit well, and photographed beautifully. He got so many compliments from teachers and classmates. What I love: • The fabric feels soft and comfortable, not like a typical scratchy costume. • Great fit — true to size with room to layer underneath. • Easy to get on and off, which is a big plus for school events. • The details (buttons, vest, trim) make it look higher quality than most kids’ costumes. He was thrilled to wear it and didn’t want to take it off! Great costume for the wax museum at my son's school. Everyone said it ran small so I ordered a 10 for my seven-year-old and it was huge. The eight fit perfectly! He's about 4 feet tall and 65 pounds. The size chart apparently references just measuring across the chest, not like all the way around (if anyone else gets hung up on that like I did!) We paired it with a wig and those little shoe buckles on top of his black dress shoes. I did wash it on cold gentle because it had a little bit of a smell to it and ironed it on the lowest steam setting possible. It definitely looked much better once ironed!

Bought for an educational performance. It has held up for multiple wears - but it is only decent quality. Very thin. It is by no means a winning costume. Sizing was true to size. It served its function and my kiddo was comfortable.

Good quality and soft feeling costume, does not come with a wig though. Good value for the money and saved us from renting a costume for my 11 year old's wax museum 5th grade project. Ordered size 12 for my 11 year old.

The costume was perfect but didn't work for us as it appeared very baggy/loose on my kid. If you kid is not skinny, this is great.
