Didn't like the taste; High protein/grain free = issues
My family recently adopted a 15 lb. Chihuahua mix who was found abandoned... we didn't know what she had eaten beforehand, but I'm guessing it wasn't anything high-quality due to the condition of her teeth and coat. My goal was to get her on a high-quality diet (a "6/6" rating), and researched high protein/grain free diets and the benefits of them. Additionally, I read up on Innova/Evo and understood that their products are extremely high quality, and someone else on a forum recommended we try the Red Meat Small Bite kibble with her.Even at first sniff, my dog indicated she didn't like it. Of course, I figure it would take some time, so I worked on transitioning her off of the other kibble she was on. It basically came down to the fact that she would only eat the Innova Evo when it was mixed in with some wet food, and oftentimes only with a bit of cottage cheese mixed in.Shortly after being on this high-protein diet (we didn't even finish her small bag of food), she began to urinate around the house, which she hasn't done in the 5 months we've had her. It turns out she had urinary crystals, which the vet attributed to the high protein levels of her diet. We had to put her on Flagil, and the vet recommended I put her on Hill's Science Diet c/d (which I know is full of corn and grain fillers). After politely declining, I changed her diet to something more holistic that DOES have grain (a "4/6" rating). She's fine now...Innova/Evo is an extremely high quality brand... perhaps it's better for larger and very active dogs. I know not ALL dogs may have this reaction to a high-protein diet, but I really think people need to understand that high-protein/no grain isn't always the smartest choice in terms of your dog's health. In our case, it turned out to be much more costly for us and more stressful for our dog to make this switch.

My pet's food of choice
I used to feed my dog the usual dry food from the store. He barely used to eat and when he did it was very reluctantly. I decided that something had to change and about a year ago switched to Innova. I haven't looked back since. My 2 year old aussie huskyjust loves this thing. He is healthier, happier and has a softer coat. The only snag is that I never buy this from Amazon. I am a prime member and just don't believe in paying close to $20 for shipping. Once this gets on Amazon prime, I will always buy from Amazon. Until then, its a better deal for me to drive to a distributor near my house and then buy it.

Fantastic food! Don't listen to the haters...
We love this dog food and so does our dog. Reading all of these bad reviews, they sound like advertisements for whatever other food they recommend (Blue Buffalo whatever...). The bottom line is, read the ingredients label and find out for yourself what is in the food. There's nothing but great stuff for your dog in here...I don't know how all dogs would suddenly get diarrhea from eating food that consiste of chicken/turkey/vegetables/etc.? Obviously there are other great foods out there as well, but this one is terrific, my dog loves it, and it's reasonably priced for what it is. Our dog has always been very healthy with this food, has a great coat and plenty of energy. We couldn't be happier with this. Again, don't take anyone else's word for it...just read the label and pick out a food that works for you.

Best dog food I've ever tried
I've been feeding my three cocker spaniels evo turkey for about five years. I wouldn't trade for anything. Their fur is so soft. They rarely have diarrhea or loose stools. I used to be like the average dog owner buying grocery store brands. The dogs, especially one scratched all the time. Loose stools, mucous bloody stools were the norm. The vet thought the itchy dog was allergic to house molds. And the other dog was thought to have severe Autoimmune colitis. Evo cured them. No more expensive vet visits.

ALLERGY KILLER! But STINKY
This dog food stopped all of my puppies itching and scratching. He even stopped sneezing, but will still sneeze if we let him stay outside too long. He had no problem transitioning to this food and seems to love it. One drawback is that it is kind of stinky; on the good side it doesn't cause gas so no worries there. I'm just happy he is happy and not scratching

didn't agree with my weim
For the price per kcal for grain free food this product was the best buy out there so I figured i would give it a try. Then I found out that the infamous P&G purchased the brand so I decided to back away. Ended up feeding one bag to my 3 year old weimeraner. He devoured it of course, but there isn't a dogfood brand i've ever tried that he didn't devour. His stools however became so rock hard that I could see the pain in his face each day as he was passing them. I then switched to wellness core grain free at a slightly higher $ to kcal ratio but his stools are normal again and I feel comfortable that I won't be the chance victim of P&G's underhanded component tampering and come home to find my dog poisoned by an uncontrolled chinese byproduct they decided to substitute to increase profitability by .001%.

Dog is doing great
This food looks and feels to be of good quality. Also highly rated by [...] ([...]) and they place it in their top tier, so I had confidence going into the purchase. It has really high quality ingredients such as turkey, chicken, turkey meal, chicken meal, potatoes, and herring meal, without fat in the first four ingredients, which apparently can lead to bloat. I've been feeding my 60 pound Weimaraner this food for about two months and the bag still isn't gone. My dog has been gaining weight over that time as well. We have fed her Timberwolf Organics and Go! Natural Grain Free Endurance Formula before this and those were great as well. With this food, we don't have to feed her as much, so this food is a very good value, cheaper overall than Timberwolf because of the reduced feeding. However with this food and unlike the others, her stools have been small, hard, and consistent, which is very nice for me.I purchased from J-B Wholesale Pet Supplies which had very reasonable prices and shipping costs. I bought three bags and the shipping was the same, so my shipping costs were around $1.50 per bag. Two downsides were that shipping was slow and I didn't get a tracking number until I called J-B Wholesale.
