Lasted 2.5 years. Now rattling and coming apart.
Fitment was ok but not that great. Instead of being threaded for studs like factory at exhaust manifold side you needed nuts and bolts making this a real pain to install.. The included round seal failed in a week and needed to be replaced with quality part. Equinox has had an exhaust drone since installed which was annoying but just turned the radio up. Now it is 2.5 years later and there is a very annoying rattle at startup and while driving. Stethoscoped to find converter is rattling internally. Not looking forward to changing this again.

DO NOT BUY
We thought we had gotten a really good deal buying this replacement catalytic converter for our 2015 Equinox. We used our vehicle's vin # and it came up a match. It wasn't. We also had to replace the manifold because the catalytic converter was the wrong configuration. However, since our manifold was cracked, we put on the manifold that fit the car and this particular catalytic converter. Problem solved. I drove away from the mechanic happy to have saved money and feeling safe for a long drive over the next couple days. Two days, and about 1000 miles later, the check engine light came on again. It turns out the catalytic converter isn't working. We have to buy yet another catalytic converter, nearly everyone, including the former GM mechanic who installed this one for us is recommending the one the GM dealer sells. The mechanic explained that with these cheaper, aftermarket ones you get what you pay for. There are a lot of precious metals in catalytic converters and this one just doesn't have enough and/or the right quality. There is NO WARRANTY on this catalytic converter.Although we used the vin # to find the correct match, at the bottom of their store page, it says 2014 Equinox, not 2015. Everything about this page and product was wrong. Usually I love buying from Amazon, and on line generally. This was one of the few times we've been burned.I would return this if I could to at least have a little more to spend on the correct replacement part. This time "saving money" cost us quite a bit more.
