Perfect Automatic Sprinkler System
Instead of a garden hose, I used 1/2 in. poly drip irrigation hose, with hose end adapters, to connect four sprinklers around the perimeter of the yard. Each sprinkler is connected to a separate Orbit Watering Timer. All four timers are set to function independently for a set time, one after the other. The first one pops up and waters for a set time and then quits. The second one pops up five minutes later and waters for it's set time and quits, and so on, until all four have finished watering the entire back yard. This way, I keep water pressure up, and don't have to disconnect and re-connect each one with a garden hose. It's the perfect solution to installing an automatic sprinkler system without having to dig trenches for underground water lines. I ran the poly tubing around the perimeter of the yard in the most out of the way places and hooked each line to a separate battery operated watering timer. These sprinklers are so far working great. Prepare to get wet when first adjusting these things, but once set, they function very well. Now I just sit and watch the entire back yard being watered in perfect synchronicity.

Great in-ground sprinklers!
I was sick of lugging out the hoses and setting up standard sprinklers in my yard and wanted something simpler without spending all that money to get a real in-ground system installed. Look no further than these sprinkler stations. They are easy to install and use. The reason I gave them 4 out of 5 stars is because it would have been so easy to make these so that you could daisy chain them and perhaps bury a hose under the ground....otherwise they work great and provide coverage for 90% of my front yard. Connecting the hose is a snap (literally). Highly recommended.

work great, when they work
I purchased 2 3-packs of these systems. Hooked them up to a timer, and when they work, they work great! The problem is, 2 of them were broke, and of course, I didn't realize this until they were both in the ground. Not easy to get them back out! One leaks really bad in the sprinkler housing and the other didn't go back and forth. The others, however, work great! Fairly easy to get into the ground. With the quick disconnects, it makes it very easy to water. Just make sure you're not standing in the way lol. The water spray distance can be easily adjusted with a screw at the tip of the sprinkler, and they do indeed spray up to 35 feet. Set these up with a timer, and you'll never over or under water again! I would have rated these a 5 if they all worked. We'll see how well the manufacturer deals with replacement parts. (worst case scenario, they do sell replacement sprinkler heads for $5 each. Also, it is actually cheaper to buy 3 individual sprinklers rather than the 3pack, which is kind of dumb if you ask me...

Great Product!
These sprinklers are great i ordered 6 kits for my whole yard. when they first got here i was looking at them and i saw they have a hole on the side of them to connect them to a 3/4 hose for an irrigation system. so i went to menards and i bought 1000ft of underground sprinkler hose. We put the connectors right up by the house so we would not have to take out the hose everytime. It does not talk about this whole anywhere in anything you will read but that whole is great it tok 3 days to put them all in becuase of all of the digging but. BUt it is well worth it becuase we dont have to take out the hose at all now. This is truly way better than putting in an inground system wich could cost up to 5,000 for my type of yard! if you have any questions on how we did this feel free to comment on my review!

Good for a few months.... Then they stop rotating.
Just installed them, and they work great. Only reasons I did not give them five stars: 1. My front yard is about 20 feet deep, and even if I adjust the spray as low as it goes, they still go a few feet too far. 2. These are the pulsating sprinkler type heads. Thus, you get overspray on the right side of the sprinkler. This is hitting my house, which will leave water marks. I'm planning to put a lawn ornament in the overspray location to block the spray. I'll try to get back in a few weeks and let you know how lush and green my yard has become.... :) Update 9/2014 well, bummer. I really had high hopes. However, at least half the sprinklers I installed have stopped rotating. They get stuck in the "back-stroke" of the pulsating cycle. Dropping my rating to a 1. NOTE: I also installed some of the non-pulsating type sprinklers that Amazon sells, and they are still working fine. I recommend them instead.

yes it's easy
a neighbor of mine turned me on to this system so i ordered my first 3 pack last year. i was able to install the units in about a half hour each and set them about 60-70 feet apart. i opened the spray screw all the way for max distance and have been very pleased with the results. this year i ordered two more sets to finish the main part of my yard and got all 6 units in and on in less than two hours. because my yard has wierd corners i have a few hot spots that i still have to hand water to prevent browning but the rest of the yard gets done so much faster and efficiently it doesn't bother me to hit those couple of areas. i am now debating on whether or not to try the smaller units for an area between houses too narrow for the larger units. overall the 9 units i have cover almost a 1/4 acre very effectively. i've thanked my neighbor and shown many others this product.
