Comfortable, polarized lense works well, bad packaging/shipping
Polarized lenses works well. The glasses works well and the spring hinges are comfortable. The only issue I have is that one of the lense popped out of place and was rattling around during shipping and had some small scratches that is not within in view.I simply popped them back in. It took a lot of effort to put the lense back in and I was not successful until I submerge the whole thing in to hot water (as hot as my hands would take) to be able to pop the lense back in. So during packaging or shipping it took a tremendous jolt of somekind to get it to pop loose. The upside is that it was very cheap so fixing the thing and keeping it versus the effort of returning it and wait for a replacement was a no brainer.I wear it everyday while playing tennis and while driving in Central Valley sun and it works great and looks good but the lense is a bit too dark for my taste. I find that if the polarized lense works well at cutting glare it does not need to cut out too much light.I prefer to buy the actual Ray Bans but I am absent minded and have lost so many expensive glasses that I now buy the cheapies. I would buy a couple more just to put in my desk drawer so that I will have replacement when I lose this one.The rating take price into consideration. Please note that these does not compare to the Polarized Wayfarrer that they copy.

Good replicas, verified polarized, scratch a bit more than Ray Bans, quality spring hinges
These are traditional wayfarers in a nice looking tortoise shell plastic frame. I used a couple testers to confirm that they are polarized and the real world effect is great for driving and around water (huge help at a couple lakes on sunny days). The sprung hinges are a nice touch and work nicely. The frames are a bit wide which is perfect for me but too big for my wife. The hinges are a little wide / thick compared with the Ray Bans these look similar too, but they don't get in the way or look funny at all. That was the main difference I could see between these and the Ray Bans my friend has.The plastic lenses are not terrible scratch resistant, but better than all other glasses I've bought for under $40. There's a similar model at Costco these days and they are arguably more scratch resistant, but at more than three times the price these are a much better option (and they're just bigger which fits my face and head better). They're not $180 Ray Bans, but they're definitely worth more than their nominal cost and from more than a foot away I doubt anyone will be able to tell the difference. Great polarized sunglasses for a backup beater pair or as your go to shades in the car; consider getting a second set if they're at a good price just in case they get a little scratched.

For those of us that lose our sun glasses
I don't know how many times I have lost a nice pair of sun glasses (SG's). SG's are not cheap these days and each time I lose a pair it really makes me angry for not paying more attention and of course for loss of the money I spent. So.... I thought what the heck try a pair of these and see how they work out. They looked pretty good and at the very low price I bought a couple to try out. Here is what I found. The frames are cheap plastic and they have no heft like the more expensive SG's I normally wear. They are however very light and fit nicely. The lenses are polarized, I cannot tell the difference between these and a more expensive pair I use in my car. They block out the sun nicely and are very comfortable, and, I am not afraid to lose them. They look good on me (or so says the Mrs). Since I got them in the mail about a week or so ago, these have been my main eye protection. They are very cheap, but I must confess I really like them. They come without a case in a cheap envelop but they were delivered without any damage in a plastic wrapper. But this was of no consequence to me as I have a bunch of cases left over from numerous glasses I have bought over the years and have just sat in drawers for God knows how long. I fished one of these out put the sun glasses in there and put them in my car. I am a happy camper and since I am a very long ways from being part of the 1%, I don't have to worry about what the country club set might think. All I am looking for is a set of SG's that protect my eyes from the sun and that are comfortable to wear and look decent. I also want to feel little or no pain if I misplace them or lose them. These fit the bill.If you need a really classy pair of sun glasses and your pals will really notice brand name etc., then look somewhere else. But, if what you need a a functional pair of SG's that will do the job, do yourself a favor and get a pair of these. Take a couple of these on vacation and if lost or stolen - so what? You just can't beat these for the price. Very practical but not for those seeking prestige.
