I have a small hair studio and my advice is do not purchase capes are made of thin material. Although its cheap and the weave seems tight, small hair fragments worked their way through the material to poke into the skin of the customers. You will lose the main goal because of small gains.This is a very good product with premium material, soft touching, anti-static and all the hairs just slide off, t is thick and long enough to cover 99% customers. Not 100% Nylon, probably mix several materials. will order more.

I don’t need this for cutting hair, but I decided to use it as sort of a shop cloak for working on my wood lathe.There are always wood shavings and dust flying everywhere, and my clothes were constantly being covered - followed by me bringing all that back inside the house.This works great for that purpose. It’s very lightweight so I can move my arms around freely and stops all of the dust from hitting any of the front of me. Also, the snaps to hold it around my neck are perfect because it doesn’t allow for all the shavings to fly up and down the back of my shirt as it normally would.I imagine it works well for the purpose of cutting hair as well. Simple and inexpensive.

I purchased this cape for at home haircuts. Within the first two uses, the snaps pulled completely off when unsnapping making this unusable. I posted a review and heard from the company within hours. They mailed me a brand new, improved cape with durable snaps within one day. The snaps on the new cape are black plastic and are part of a long strip of snaps that hold snaps firmly to the fabric. The cape snaps and unsnaps as it should. I'm grateful for the excellent customer service from Coobi.

I love my capes. I mostly do bayalages and blondes so I’m using bleach. I am MESSY when I bayalage and capes are made of awesome thick material and don’t leak bleach 🙌🏼 They also do not turn orange when they get bleach on them. Coobi was also fantasic with the return policy (one had bad buttons, still love the capes though.) Great company, great product! I will continue to buy them.

No problems here, but keep in mind my wife only cuts my hair every two to three weeks. If a snap falls off or something else happens I'll update.UPDATE:Received product 07/07/2018Snaps statrted coming off 10/14/2018.So after about less then 10 uses the defect(s) begins to show.

Update: seller informed me that they had a run of defective products & shipped me out a new one ASAP. The new cape has plastic buttons instead of metal buttons & they are inset into the fabric. The new product is 100% better!Original review: Nice fabric but the snaps are terrible. All of them broke the first time we use it. I’m just a mom using it to cut my kids hair every few weeks, there is no way this would work in a salon setting. I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone.

Works perfect. Nice and lightweight, buttons work well. The back doesn't go nearly as far as the front, so if you are using it for home, sometimes it doesnt protect clothing far down at the bottom of the back. I think they are all like this, however. It is Slick, can shake it off to use with two people in a row and washes easily. I use it to cut my daughter, son and husband's hair. I still need to put something between the top button area and the neckline to make sure my son doesn't get hairs down his neck as he is sensitive, but not with the others. It's 100 times better than a towel, garbage bag, or whatever and so worth it. :-)

I use this one to cut and dye my daughter's and my husband's hair but I assume it would serve a professional hairdresser as great as it does to me. I like its big size covering both the body and the legs and also that it's really easy to use. The price is good too so I do recommend this cape.

The length of the cape is good enough for an adult to cover knees. I used to use a short one to have a hair cut my with families but they always complain hairs all over their lower half body. The material of the cape is nice. This is the first time I use button on type rather than velcro type. Before I still wonder if this can be tight enough to prevent hair to slip in but after used I understand I think too much. It can work the same as velcro which sometimes make the neck feel uncomfortable. I'm not running a salon but I will advise my friends to try this cape if they want to cut hair for others.

This is a smooth piece of material that I can get for every use for my hair cutting need. I've used this for a while and there are no signs of holes or wear and tear. it is very comfortable even for your neck when you wear it. I like the snap closure that it has because it makes it easier to tie it around you and doesn't fall off in the middle of cutting your hair. The size that it comes with is very convenient as it can be used by almost anyone from varying shapes or sizes.

Got it for my sister as a gift. She's a professional hair stylist working in a salon. As per her opinion, design of these capes are convenient. It's snaps in place securely depending on the size client requires. Suitable for kids or adults.

My wife has a small hair cutting business at home and this cloak is great for her clients. The length and material is good. Hairs slip right off and the collar is comfortable. Would recommend, especially for the price

our family gets our hair cut at home. This is a must have if you do to not get hair all over the place when you stand up after a cut. Very hard to clean up if it does but this solves the problem

It’s very comfortable. Durable and easy to clean material. Many buttons to adjust neck size. Good for many purposes. I use it for hair dye and cutting my husband’s hair.

Great quality, much better than I expected. Falls nice and long to cover the clothes completely and suitable for numerous people as it has size adjustment around the neck.

found all the hair stuck to the cape even tried to shake it off outside and ended up with it stuck to both side. Hardly could get the hair off with a vacuum it was so static ridden material

Cost Ok but hairs stick to the cloth so kind of defeats the purpose. It pevents you from having all over your clothes but then you have spend a decent amount of time cleaning the cape .
