So far seems to be alright although I didn't put it in my device yet but will do over the next days to see if it fits.But from what I see it should, as I already opened my TOM TOM quick before to check out the old battery, which by the way is still working.What I lately found is, that obviously not the battery was defective, which by the way now is 7 years old and still the first one in my TOM TOM One XL, but it simply was the charger cable. Somehow the plug which runs into the port must have widen itself a little bit and then doesn't deliver the proper power to the device anymore as it slides out of the port just a little bit, but still not enough as the charger light would go out. It came obvious because when that happens you can see a barely visible blinking icon at the left bottom corner on the GPS screen. That indicates it's not receiving full power. But as I mentioned you really have to focus when that happens. So basically I don't need that battery but will keep it just in case. Got a new charger cable now and everything is fine. All in all good service and relativ quick service if you don't need it right away and can wait a few days.Tom

I received the battery on Friday, 21 August and replaced my 3+ year old, dead Tomtom One battery Saturday morning. I let it charge for a few hours and put it in the car to take my daughter to college. I didn't really need the Tomtom for the short trip, but wanted to test it out. It came in handy because my daughter was slow in giving me notice to take an exit, and the Tomtom was telling me to take the exit. I asked my daughter if it was the right exit and she confirmed that I should take it.So...the battery kept the Tomtom alive. After dropping all of her stuff off, we went to dinner. We returned to the vehicle an hour later and the Tomtom still had power. The old battery would not have had power as it had reached its end of life.I had no issues with the installation. I am totally satisfied with the battery. My Tomtom was functioning again like it did 2-3 years earlier. I just have to update the maps to bring it to the present.I am One Happy Camper!

Made my old TomTom One like new. It's a bit hard to get the TomTom open to service the battery but the "tube" has several videos on how to do that. Once inside it took about 2 minutes to replace the battery and this one is actually better than the original. Super easy fix to extend the use of an older GPS.

it had the wrong ends for my tom tom, and a little thicker. changed the ends and still used it. works fine.

I replaced the battery in my old Tomtom navigator. Worked perfectly. Be careful opening the Tomtom as popping the cover off can make you pull the wires from the speaker. Had to replace the speaker as well.... If I had opened the cover more carefully, it would have been fine. It just happened I had trouble getting the 2 parts separated and when the cover snapped open, it pulled the wires from the speaker. ooops

I was going to replace my Tom Tom GPS (Stopped working) when I decided to open it up and check for problem, I unplugged the battery and put the GPS back in the car It worked ok. But it had no memory. I ordered the battery installed and back to working like new. Very quick service I received the battery a day or two before estimated date.Very Happy CustomerWayne V.

we give it 5 starts since it gave power. We didn't have the unit long enough to see about battery life, so we leave it there.
