Truvativ SRAM GXP Team Bottom Bracket

I am using this with my Santa Cruz 5010 GXP crank and have no issues.

This bottom bracket could be good, but sloppy engineering prevents it from being so. Excessive play between the non drive side bearing and the spindle causes popping and snapping noises when pedaling. Upon receiving the new part, I was dismayed to find that it too had too much play, and the spindle with the crank arm installed and torqued can be moved up and down about .010 inch. This bearing should be a light press fit; instead it almost rattles around on the spindle. This is on the end of the spindle that is 22 mm. Poor fit, noisy performance.

Confirming I got this and it is the 83mm one. It is NOT the 68mm. Bearings are same but the plastic inner sleeve is 83mm when I thought I was buying the 68mm one.However, I emailed High on Bikes (seller) and they were brilliant. Within the hour they replied and advised me. So I just swapped my old 68mm plastic inner sleeve which was in good nick for the 83mm one that comes with this. Works fine.

The official BBs from SRAM for GXP always fit perfectly whereas most other brands don't clear all chainrings properly. Buy spare of these while in stock so you don't need to deal with other brands which don't fit. When properly fitted they last a long time.
