Easy installation, great product!
Snaps in very easily into my Glock 19 gen 4. It's firmly held in place by the little button and it doesn't interfere with the back straps

Fit is good, but shape is questionable.
So the generally high reviews drew me in, but for the life of me, I can’t understand why. The plug serves two purposes: Keeps dirt out, and facilitates insertion of magazine. Pretty sure this plug does a fine job keeping dirt out, but not impressed with its ability to get the mag in easier. In fact, it may make it more difficult. The issue, which is well hidden by only providing a SINGLE upside down product image, is that there is a ridge right in the middle of the plug the the mag can catch on, instead of a smooth, angled slope that feeds the mag into the well. It’s just not helpful at all.Regarding installation, it was very smooth once I took off the back strap that I had installed, then put it back after installing the plug. Easy peasy.

Doesn't fit perfectly flush to bottom of frame of my ...
UPDATE 5/3/2018:I was at the range recently, and this piece had fallen out of my G26 frame. I didn't notice it until I was cleaning up my brass and found it on the floor. Unlike the full size frame of the Glock 17, there isn't a hole on the back strap of a Glock 26 nor a bump on the insert to pop into and hold this piece in place. Still nice to have, but I wish it held in place better.======================ORIG REVIEW:Doesn't fit perfectly flush to bottom of frame of my G26 (Gen3). The plug pushes in about the thickness of a credit card beyond the bottom of the grip; however, it still fills up the opening very well. Unlike the G17/19 models, there isn't a dimple (negative dimple?? bubble?? pimple?? I don't know what to call it) to lock the piece into the frame. Instead, it uses friction. I hope it holds. If it comes loose at the range, I'll update this review. 4 stars for now.Install is as simple as pushing the piece into the cavity on the grip.

Work and look great for my Gen 4's!
My three Gen 4's. Glock 23, 26, 27. Such a small item that gives a finished look. No screws and nonsense like that. They just slide in and are held in my friction. If they fall out (which I have not had happen) just put them back in. They also leave room for adding a backstrap if you need one. I have seen other brands but my three are Pearce as are my sub compact magazine extensions for my pinky!

This is the only one that fits flush the way I like so it doesn't get in the way of the ...
I've bought a lot of grip plugs for my 3rd gen 21SF. This is the only one that fits flush the way I like so it doesn't get in the way of the reload and also keep it clean. However there is not the little sphere bubble protruding from the tab on the back like on plugs by the same company for other models of glock. So the non existent little nub can't lock the grip plug into place, it relies purely on friction. After a few days of carrying it i have to push it back in slightly. When I shoot 230 grain American Eagle FMJ ammo it flies out after 2 or 3 shots. I'm going to thoroughly clean that compartment and have my gunsmith lock-tite this one in there, because this is the THIRD one of these I have bought. The other two went missing on the outdoor range somewhere in a sea of brass and plastic. The other models have the little nub and will stay secure, I think its just the 3rd gen 21SF that has this problem, my dad has a 3rd gen 20 and they plug i got him for father's day had the nub and fit perfectly but would not work in mine despite the 20 and 21 having the same frame, so the Short Frame must make that much of a difference. But Pearce should just remold the thing to correct the problem, it can't be that difficult to manufacture plastic of slightly different dimensions.

Easy to install. Looks good
I can’t offer much in the way of a review, because this thing is so simple and easy to use....I can say that it fit my Gen4 G22 perfectly. No issues with getting it installed, and it looks nice. It locks into place using the “lanyard” hole on the back of a Glock Gen 4 grip.Included photos of what it looks like installed both with and without a Glock magazine.*******************************I rely heavily on reviews when I make purchases so I put some time into reviewing everything I buy on Amazon for personal or business use so I can help other people considering that item. A-
I've read a number of reviews and I understand some of the concerns, BUT those concerns seem to have been largely addressed by Pearce. My plug came with the plastic button that fits into the hole in the rear of the Glock frame. It installed in seconds. Cosmetically, the grip plug has 3 relief areas in its perimeter to allow for fitting of the Glock grip adapters. I do not use the optional grip extensions, so the plug doesn't fully "cover" the frame hole as with prior generations. However, it functions as intended and I'm satisfied with it.My only suggestion for improvement would be a slightly better bevel on the interior side of the plug for more of a "magwell" effect.

A perfect fit, slight rise
Installation is easy, just press in and the insert seats perfectly. It does stick out above the grip slightly (see photo) which I did not expect, but does not seem to be an issue. It is fully seated along the curve on the inside of the grip, and removal is as easy as pushing the small button on through the grip's small hole. A few tugs to make sure it is secure and I see it won't simply fall out without intentionally trying to remove. Not sure why the gap is there in the first place, but if ever an issue, easy enough to remove. Otherwise, a perfect fit for a Gen5.

Does what it's supposed to.
Clipped into my Gen 4 G17 in a hot second. I'm pretty sure gap that exists in the stock pistol is a result of the manufacturing process rather than a design feature, and I'm not going to get into a debate as to why you should or shouldn't use a grip plug.Want to install a grip plug? Buy this one.Don't want to install a grip plug? Carry on.

Good Buy
Inexpensive grip plug that does the job well. Doesn't really look as much like the picture as the bottom of the plug is a little more recessed appearing whereas the listed picture looks more bulky/full appearing, but not a big deal.

Perfect, as advertised
Perfect, as advertised. Fits the Gen 4 22 perfectly, and it is made of the same material and texture as the OEM Glock stock. Looks like a natural piece of the firearm- no difference in colour either.
