I opened the box to calibrate it first thing. I followed the instructions only to find out that the thermometer was already calibrated. I have been very happy and satisfied will all Zulay products I have purchased. All products are well made and hold up well. I highly recommend this product.

This is great! I love how you just pop the thermometer out and it turns on. Came with an extra battery. And I love that you don't have to click through the settings for which meat your cooking. Just read it right there on the handle. AND it comes with warranty. Its a quick read and so simple to use! Will definitely buy again.

I’m impressed! I got this to take the guess work out of making steaks at home. This has really made a difference in perfecting my steak (&other meats) cooking times! It cleans very easily. It was so easy to set up and figure out how to use. It’s a great price and great value all around.

Calibrated before using, but not sure how well it holds. The temperature reading is quick, but not certain about the accuracy of the device. Does what it was purchased for.

Im a Pastry Chef and working with elements like Chocolate can get messy so I like having easy utensils to check for tempering. This thermometer is easy to handle using its finger hole grip giving you a little more flexibility to take temps and you dont have to press any buttons to turn on the unit. Simply open and take temps.great when using to temp custards, meats and more. The color options are a extra bonus. Will definitely be getting two more for hime and work.

Worked fine for 7 months. Then wouldn't go down to room temperature. Reads 261° at air temperature 75°Disappointed product didn't 'last a lifetime" as stated it would on company website.**UPDATED REVIEW**After contacting customer support, they told me how to recalibrate the thermometer. When that didn't work, they said they would replace it. All communication was prompt, courteous, and easy to understand. I have no doubt that the new one will last. And if it doesn't, they will stand behind it!

As notes above, I absolutely love this digital thermometer. I only wonder why it took me so long to buy one. The display screen is great, it reads fairly instantly, and I just love that it has a magnet and therefore can live on my fan hood or refrigerator. I like the color choices, I picked the best match for my kitchen, so I don't feel like it messes with the esthetic.

I cant believe I have lived this long without one of these! I was using one of those old fashioned thermometers where you stick it in and let all the heat out of the oven for 5 minutes while waiting for the temperature dial to move. This is way better and no guessing on temperature. I have not checked the accuracy, but we havent gotten sick from any undercooked chicken, so its close enough for us! And its magnetic! So convenient!!
