I bought these for camping trips, having found it difficult to buy porridge that was made only with boiling water. Buying 30 is a bit of a leap of faith but they are actually quite nice. Easy to make; cover with boiling water, stir and wait three minutes. I have tried a couple at home and they are fine and I've no doubt will taste even better when camping. Not too sweet. Portion size is probably about right at 70g for 252kcal and they don't seem to have much in the way of strange ingredients. Long enough use by date too and working out at 60p per portion. Hope they are still around when I need to buy more.

The oats used in this porridge are obviously high quality as it has a lovely texture and is very easy to heat up. The cranberries and raisins really add something to the flavour, although there could be more of them. I use mostly water, with a dash of milk which seems to make all the difference. I would have awarded it five stars, and here is where the 'but' comes in - if it wasn't for the fact that it is SO sugary. There is 26.4g of sugar in every 100g (so 26.4% sugar). Another point to mention is that these sachets are 70g. Which is over twice the amount suggested by most nutritionists. I have since changed to a different porridge now which has zero added sugar and more fruit and fibre.

Good way the buy gluten free porrage.

My first ever Amazon review ! This stuff is great. I wanted a porridge I could take bike packing and make with boiling water only instead of milk. It’s lightweight and easy to carry. Thought I had ordered the wrong one as it’s Gluten free but think that’s the Cranberry n raisin one. Tastes great - just as well as I’ve ordered 30 sachets. I’m Scottish so I know my porridge. A little sweet, just how I like it and fruit rehydrates well. I made it just in the packet itself. It doesn’t say to do that but it’s waterproof and saves waste. Open small hole at the top, fill it up (125ml), shake or stir and ready in 3-5 mins. Perfect portion size before u head off on your day. 29 potions left ! I’ve included a picture in case folk don’t know what it looks like -or a spoon !!

Lovely porridge in sachets where you just add hot water, so simple and quick.

Excellent taste - sane taste as the pots.
