Vellux Twin Size Microfleece Supersoft Lightweight Throw Blanket | All-Season Comfort | Plush Pet-Friendly Blue

I bought this blanket to replace our old Vellux blanket that has long been our favorite but is getting a bit worn. This blanket arrived quickly from the seller and packaged well. We have used it on our bed for a while now and, although I don't find it as light and breathable as our old one, I think that will come with continued use. It washes up well and the King size fits our bed very well with plenty of coverage. The color selection was limited at this price to what we got (listed as "Sunset" but looks more "Salmon" I think), which i would not have normally chosen, but since it is covered by our quilt I don't mind the color. There is nothing that beats a Vellux for comfort, in our opinion.

This blanket is warm and very soft. It turned out to be better quality than I was expecting. Right as I got it, I threw it in the washer on cold as the care instructions stated. I then put it on the dryer on low heat for delicates. Usually, fleece like this will have little fuzz balls after thr dryer. However, this blanket did not shrink nor was the softness compromised. This is perfect is for autumn nights!

Not worth it. This is not the same quality of Vellux WestPoint from the past. It is supposed to be “anti-pill” on both sides but it particularly pilled apart all of my bed. So disappointed after telling others about this brand. In the pictures it’s hard to see but give it a try maybe you will get a good one. I have lent all over the place I’ll have to deal with later when I get home from work.

Since our much used original tagged WestPoint vellux blankets fell apart from too many washings, I was excited to see this vellux blanket by the same company here on Amazon & ordered the full size in tornado grey. On arrival I noticed immediately it is not the same nylon velour vellux which was hotel style & kept us warm all winter ; it is a nice quality thin plush microfiber type, not even the thickness of a plush velour throw blanket for warmth. I read the reviews for the Original Vellux blanket here later, but because there are so many customers complaining about the persistent chemical odor despite washings, I am going to try a plush velour full size throw for our bed & hope it will be comfortable enough without overheating us for cold weather sleeping. It's a shame to say goodbye to that lovely foam padded velour vellux style we will miss it, I think the popularity of microfiber & microfleece blankets has affected the bedding industry who used to offer the nylon vellux by many different companies. Buy two of these for your bed or you will need an extra blanket to keep warm, at least in the northern states.

I have looked high and low to replace my super soft fleece Woolrich blanket that I'd had forever. This is it!! I love that this blanket is not stiff or heavy. It doesn't have that weird, creepy-cotton-ball-in-the-pill-bottle feeling all the other fleece blankets have. This is ultra soft, lightweight, warm, and cozy. So happy to have been able to finally find this. Get one. They don't disappoint and they look great on a bed all by themselves.

I was getting so tired of having blankets that did nothing but pilled and got fuzzies all over the place and worse after you wash it. This blanket is as good as it gets!!!

I love everything about this blanket. The night before this arrived it was cold in our new house and we had a hard time sleeping. The next night we were perfectly warm. I thought with having polyester we may be too warm but that hasn't happened at all. I also love the light blue color. It's actually a blue/green will go perfectly with the quilt I ordered on Amazon.

Ordered the “sunset” blanket but the color is NOT dark orange as pictured. More of a bright peach.

After my husband died, our two cats saw there was now room for them to share the double bed with me at night and moved right in, expressing strong likes or dislikes for the blankets I already had. This one got a five-purr rating from the first night. Light enough not to rumple fur, but with a good quality soft texture for satisfying paw-kneading. I like it too. A nice neutral but warm shade of light brown. We've all been sleeping well under it, and will probably buy more in different colours.

This is a lovely light blanket for the summer. Because it is so lightweight, it slides around when making the bed. We purchased a Vellux blanket before but it was a heavier weight & we prefer the way that blanket stays firmly on the bed. Nothing wrong with this blanket, it just wasn’ What we were expecting.

It’s a nice soft blanket but it’s not the traditional Vellux I was looking to purchase. Definitely not as warm and a different material.

C’est ce que je cherchais. J’avais déjà eu cette sorte de couverture et j’avais bien aimé car c’est léger, doux et chaud. J’ai acheté cette couverture pour notre V.R. Je l’adore ! 🥰
