MEASUREMAN 2-1/2" Pressure Washer Pressure Gauge Kit 3/8 Inch Quick Connect 0-5000 PSI Glycerin Filled

I needed this gauge for my pressure washer and it seems to work well. The quick disconnects make it convenient to install at different locations on the pressure washer. I install it right at the base of the gun so it gives an accurate readout as to the pressure leaving the nozzle of the gun. I feel it well worth the cost to know what pressure Im working with.

First use with no leaks on the quick connects when paired with a Simpton 4400 PSI. Gauge is responsive and feels well built

Regulating pressure washer for washing cars

The gauge itself seems well made. Unfortunately it has to be "bled" before use by removing a small rubber plug on the top of the guage. There's a sticker on the side of the gauge that tells you this, but the writing is soooo small it's hard to read even with a magnifying glass. But the gist of it is to pull the rubber plug off by grabbing the small tit in the center of the plug an pulling, and then re-installing. At least that's what the illustration on the sticker shows. Well......I did that and the rubber tip pulled out and went flying across the room somewhere, leaving a small hole in the plug that now leaks the gauge fluid all over the place. So ok, a piece of duct tape over the hole fixes that.....but it should have a better and easier to remove plug. Then you install the gauge on the outlet of your pump and insert your hose in the gauge outlet. Pretty simple. And when you fire up your pressure washer it reads just fine. But then you go and do your washing.......and when you come back to look at the gauge again it's now facing down, as it's top heavy and rotates in the quick disconnect of your pump. So now you have to read an upside down gauge.........not good. Of course I didn't install it right away and now it's 2 days past the allowable Amazon return date. So in the junk drawer it goes. Hope this helps someone make a wiser choice than I did.

This was helpful for me to determine what tips to use on which surfaces so i do not damage what i am spraying. It also helped me to measure the psi between 2 pressure washers when deciding which one would suit my needs. It also helped me to pick out nozzles of the right orifice size for my pressure washer. Not exactly necessary to have but helpful if you want to see if the pressure washer you bought is an upgrade over your old one.The only negative is the markings below 500 psi dont really make sense and i guess they are divided into 4ths rather than 5ths, which makes it confusing.

Have not had a chance to use it yet-purchased it in the winter time. Pressure washer is put away. will follow up in the spring time.
