Entertainment for the cats
Robustly made and keeps my cat entertained for a good 30 mins. The main negative is the battery seems to walear down quite quickly and it takes a while to charge for such a small thing.Overall a good toy to have for you're cat friend.

Very good value for money, not particularly smart but keeps the cat distracted
Edit - just marked it down a star as I have just realised it constantly and needlessly beeps when in 'standby' mode. A real shame when the toy is pretty quiet and not annoying when actually buzzing aboutWe have a Bengal who has a missing back leg and this knocked his confidence. As such he has a hard time expending his energy so spends most of the day asking for food or jumping onto surfaces he isn't supposed to be on.Any cat owner will know that most toys you have high hopes for, and then most of the time the cat is more interested in the box they came in.This isn't too expensive at under £30, so it's worth a punt - and their money back guarantee is nice (no idea how good they are at honouring it after the toy has been used)So far our Bengal has taken to watching it do it's thing and not much else. He likes to stalk when playing and only pounce when his 'prey' is still. This little thing does pause, but never for quite long enough for him, so he will be approaching it as it shoots off again. It would be nice if it had a few more modes beyond 'fast' and 'slow'.I'm not so sure the 'sensors' do all that much. It spends it's whole time bashing into objects and walls, not that this matters too much as it's small and has big rubber wheels. All in all it's worth the £28 paid, and hopefully our cat will start hunting it a little more effectively.

Cat meets Robot Wars
Cat is in two minds about this, she loves watching it and the dangling bits on it, but it doesn't half scare her when it starts to fly around. This toy is like watching Robot Wars, it'd speed and spinning capacity is crazy, and wouldnt reccomend if you have delicate furniture at ankle height!Timer settings are great, and moves even on a really thick rug.

Absolutely perfect for my kittens
The media could not be loaded. Absolutely fabulous!! I have 2 very energetic 3/4 Ragdoll, 1/4 Siamese kittens (10 weeks old) and they absolutely love this! This item arrived today (unfortunately uncharged) but after charging for 10 mins It provided so much entertainment for our Moo and Bear. I have never written a review before (despite having used amazon prime for a very long time), but chose to because of how much they enjoy this. We have just become kitten mums and surprised by how much love and joy we have for our two little furry babies. I got them at 7 weeks and have seen their little personalities develop over time... and how much they love chasing a feather wand. I was a bit skeptical when other reviews said it was too fast and aggressive, but my kittens are tiny and this is in no way harmful to them. I was going to purchase an automatic ‘change direction’ ball but was put off as I realised they’re really into feathers. I have a remote control tiny pig toy (bothers idea of funny) and they like to chase it but there’s nothing to grab onto so they quickly lose interest. This has a stick with a feather and comes with a replacement one and multiple options of other colourful and fluffy attachments. This toy allows me to sit and work whilst knowing the kitty’s are not up to mischief, but just chasing a feather around! It has a great speed to it that allows them to chase, stops randomly and they then catch it and then it speeds off again when it fancies. It’s absolutely perfect. We live it a flat with multiple items including guitars and flowers adorning the floor space; it cause absolutely not damage and senses when it hits items and then changes direction. The only things I wish is that the battery lasts longer and I can turn it on from afar when I am at work! Overall, it’s a yes from Moo and Bear (and me!)

Not worth it.
That would be a hard no for us. Starting with positives - the toy looks and feels decent, the wheels are covered in rubber which means that the toy doesn't make a lot of noise moving on hard floor, and the toy does move. However, the movements are not well designed for a cat - when it spins around, it is way too fast and even I don't feel like coming close to it.Seller claims that the toy has a "powerful sensor chip to identify obstacles and achieve effective avoidance" - this is simply not true. The thing keeps bumping into walls and furniture, spinning, and bumping on the same exact spot again! It also keeps getting stuck in the corners.. And because the toy is fairly heavy - the noise of it bumping into things again and again is beyond annoying. It moves for about 10 minutes randomly and then stops for a very long time. Won't move even if the cat pushes it. I find it frustrating as I have to stand up and switch it on and off again - there is no way to make it work continuesly. Also, when in stand by - the thing makes an awful high pitched bipping noise...The wheels have lights and are changing colour. It's kinda cute, but totally pointless.Lastly, the toy is quite heavy - it went over my foot once and I really felt it. If it hits the cat - which is very possible due to random nature of this thing - it might hurt her. I doudt it can do real damage, but won't be pleasant.Cat conclusion - due to all the constant bumping into walls, the toy trying to occasionally chase the cat, and it stopping just when the cat starts to be interested a little more than scared - it's useless.Human conclusion - I wanted something to entertain my cat while I'm away or working. This isn't it.

Some good, some bad, some lies.
OK, let's get the bad out the way. The product advert is a lie. The sensors are fake, this will not avoid obstacles and turn away, it will quite often run into walls and dead ends and just repeatedly run into the same wall over and over until it eventually does something else. So the claims on this product are in part, false.OK, now the good. It does move around quite randomly, the cats love it. It's pretty ROBUST, The axle is not exposed so less chance of hair build up. You get spare wands and toys, and it will fit any of your typical wand toy refills you can buy from most pet places.Recharging gives plenty of play time.Good product marred by some false claims.
