Old River Road SUSAN001 Table Top/Kitchen Lasy Susan, 22 Round, Oil Rubbed

I really wanted something unusual yet functional for the middle of my kitchen table, and this is it! We keep napkins, salt and pepper shakers on it, and then at meals I put other condiments on there so they can be easily passed around. It is really nice, and my kids think it's super cool. I love the look of this Lazy Susan, being a wine cask lid makes it so unique! It has nice rubber stoppers on the bottom, so it does not move when being turned, and it turns very smoothly, with no noise. It is really big, bigger than I thought it would be, so make sure you have to space for it. Very happy with it!

Although the piece is beautiful, the wood is very very dry. After 3wks, I bought both Boos block products (wax and oil), but there were already spaces/cracks between the pieces of wood making up the lazy susan . Hopefully with continued use of the wax and oil, the spaces won't get wider. I'm sure living in NM is adding to my problem.

I ordered this as a gift, but it was a disappointment . The wood is not finished, so it does not hold up to use on a dinner table. It stains easily and warps. We used it on a rarely used round table, and in theory, it is very nice, but within 2 months the Lazy Susan had bowed on two sides. I tried to return or replace the product, but the company denied any responsibility for it. They even denied that they sold the product, even after I sent photos of the label on the bottom and the very badly warped Lazy Susan. I cant even put full dishes on it now, because it tilts so much. I was very excited when I first received this lazy susan, the size was large and it was very heavy which would make you assume it was well made but after a couple weeks the slats on the boards started separating from each other. It doesn't bother my husband, he said it looks "rustic" but I think it looks "broken". It also appears too home made in my opinion. The price on this lazy susan was much lower than many others so I guess I found out why.

I ordered this for entertaining. I thought it would be nice to have a rotating appetizer board. I had been looking at them online for a while and the price was much lower than comparable products. It is great quality and the swivel mechanism is nice. Some of them come with the turntable out to the end and they don't look as nice. My fault completely, but I found that I hardly ever used it because it is so very large, it took up so much of my island. It is heavy as well because it IS a wine barrel top. I thought I would keep it for outdoor use and special occasions when I needed a large LS. I ended up trading with a friend of mine that does catering and had a smaller bamboo LS that works better for my purpose. She was thrilled and I ended up with something I will use more often even though she definitely got the better product. If you need a large attractive LS, this one will fit the bill for less than other distributors.

Very nice lazy susan; perfect for what I need it for. I have it in the corner of my kitchen counter, where it is helping to keep daily items secured into one place, and allowing for more counter space. All items are easily accessible and the design and appearance is just perfect. Yep, I recommend this lazy susan!

I purchased this as a gift for my wife. She loved it, but only a month after purchasing this product it began to separate at the wood joints. I'm not talking about minimal separation. Some of the joints have come apart as much as 1/8". I am disappointed with this purchase and would not order this product again. For the cost of this product, I would expect a higher quality item.

I took a flyer on this for my wife for a Christmas present. She didn't ask for it but I saw it in a catalog and thought it was cool. Let me tell you, I think this was her favorite gift! We put it out Christmas day and EVERYONE commented on how cool it was! We've since kept it on our table even though we don't use it daily, but had some friends over for some chinese, and surprise, they loved it and it worked perfectly. This thing is pretty big. Im not sure of the exact dimensions but its def bigger than i thought it would be. Its fairly heavy, but sturdy. The design is what got me. I wish we had more opportunities to use it. If you're looking for a lazy susan i think you will enjoy this one. Its great for cheeses but as i stated before, it can be used for other foods as well. Its great when entertaining. Enjoy!
