It would be a great set if the cars did not go so fast and that is without pressing the turbo button. The cars are always flying off the track and the kids quickly loose interest. I even bought the expansion set to see if that helped so the kids could see the cars without being a blur to them but no luck, you should avoid buying this item.

Bellissima pista con varie curve, un giro della morte, un incrocio e una strettoia, tutte varianti che danno ai giri di pista degli "stimoli" molto divertenti. La pista ha anche due contagiri per le sfide più lunghe. La corsa è molto divertente; mi diverto anche io a fare le sfide con mio figlio. La gara è abbastanza realistica: se non hai sufficiente velocità non riesci a completare il giro della morte, mentre se ne hai troppa vai dritto nelle curve. La manovrabilità delle macchinine però non è affatto complessa: mio figlio di 5 anni, dopo pochi tentativi e un po' di dritte da parte mia, riesce a controllare le vetture abbastanza bene e a fare dei bei giri. Riguardo ai molti commenti che lamentano che le macchine escono troppo di pista, questi non mi trovano d'accordo. Secondo me i costruttori hanno voluto dare un effetto più realistico alla gara e, sempre a mio parere, ci sono abbastanza riusciti. Non è di sicuro una pista dove vai sempre al massimo, ma devi dosare la velocità in base alla conformazione della pista, attività comunque assolutamente intuitiva. Un'uscita di pista ogni tanto comunque c'è, ma fa parte del divertimento complessivo. Unica perplessità è il tasto turbo nei comandi. Le macchinine se lanciate hanno una buona velocità che appunto va modulata. L'unico scopo che ho trovato alla funzione turbo è quello di sbloccare la macchinina se incastrata da qualche parte o fare uscite di pista particolarmente spettacolari. Durante una corsa normale non lo usi mai. Altra piccola pecca sono i contatti sotto le macchinine stesse, composti da due pezzi metallici morbidi che prendono la corrente dalla posta. Dopo una giornata di corse di sono un po' spelacchiati. Sono assolutamente usabili, ma a volte vanno un po' "pettinati" perché siano efficaci.
