I've been having difficulty sleeping lately so a friend recommended getting one if these sleeping static sounds machines. This works pretty good and the sounds it make are actually nice to hear sounds. I especially like the water waves and rain sounds. Now I am afraid i might have difficulty sleeping without this.There's 5 moves in each category to choose from and they all are different enough to call them out as a separate sounds. The static sounds is the most helpful to me for sleeping. The volume can get pretty loud but i don't prefer it too loud. The buttons are pretty straight forward and easy to configure. One button turns on and off. Another changed through categories and another changed through the available sounds in the current category. Then there's the volume buttons and that's it.The quality of the speaker itself is pretty amazing, the texture feels premium, the sound quality is awesome and best be of all it can be plugged into any USB source for power. I had mine plugged into a USB port in an extension so i didn't even need a power brick to power this thing.

Ok so I didn't believe in sound machines and thought this was for babies only. My husband snores like a train, and the dog licks her paws at night and I can't stand it. I've used ear plugs for years, which are so uncomfortable, but it is what it is. Then I was like, whatever, what do I have to lose by trying this little sound machine? I'm tell y'all. It has changed my life. I can sleep again!!! It drowns out the sounds of everything else and I sleep so well. I couldn't believe it. My husband even sleeps better since I'm not tossing and turning anymore (from his snoring) and he said he had a dream for the first time in years. I have nothing to gain by telling you this, just want to help anyone else that can't sleep well. I like the fan sounds, which is surprising because when you're awake it seems strange to listen to. But when you're asleep, it just makes perfect sense to your brain somehow. Anyway, this product helps and is worth every penny. Plus it's small, easy to use and not ugly.

I live in one of these luxury apartment homes but let me tell you the walls are so thin I can hear people talking on the phone. So found this product because I needed it for the neighbor from heck living next to me making noise and banging cabinets daily. This drowned him out so well because the best feature is YOU CAN TURN THE VOLUME UP REALLY LOUD. Most sound machines don't have that feature and you may only have low, medium, high. Also loved all the different sounds so I could change it up really helped me sleep at night.

This machine has a good variety of sounds and volumes available. Probably doesn't have as many sounds as others, but it works for me. I use a specific white noise sound to help me with my tinnitis. But I also like the forest sounds (especially the one with cricket sounds) for when I want to sit quietly and read; it adds a nice mood. NOTE FOR THOSE WHO SAY THEIRS DOESN'T WORK: I thought the one I bought didn't work, and was dissapointed and ready to return it; but then I tried holding in the power button for a few seconds. That did the trick.

The media could not be loaded. I searched for a sound machine to gift to my boyfriend, and I think he’ll love this one! It has six different settings and all have great sound quality. It’s the best bang for your buck. I added a video playing it because it was a deciding factor for me when I saw it on another review.

Despite the fact that this product is primarily billed as a sleep aid, I bought it specifically to buffer the sound of my voice while I am in my office with the door closed. I often need to have confidential conversations with employees (HR) and I found that placing this on the floor right outside the door of my office typically blocked private conversations from being overheard. I also leave it on the inside of my office just inside the door and that works just as well, if not better sometimes. Obviously I use the white noise setting for this purpose. Truthfully I like the nature settings as well but only when I’m in my office alone and trying to concentrate or de-stress after the aforementioned private conversation with an employee! LolAnyway, I highly recommend this product. The only thing I wish it had was Bluetooth capability.

This is the best sound machine. I am one to sleep with a fan no matter what, well I bought this for my infant to help her sleep at night and because of this sound machine I never knew when my fan just stopped working! Love love love I sleep just as well if not better! Wish I had another!

I received, as ordered, two sound machines and one does not work. The other one works ok.
