I can't begin to describe how happy I am with this choice. I had saved two other rods in my cart in order to make a decision between the two and I'm not even sure how this third one popped up but I'm glad it did. I chose it to fit a 99" space and to use with sheer curtains. I ordered them both together but was nervous about the rod when the sheers arrived first because they were heavier than expected. The package containing the rod arrived the next day and I found myself quickly relieved. The box included the rods main section and 2 expander pieces should extra length be needed, easy to understand instructions included letting you know which pieces to use depending on the length you need, and both center and end brackets should you need to use it with heavier weight curtains or drapes. I followed the instructions and was surprised at how easy it was... It couldn't have been any simpler! I had to remove and replace it a few times to straighten it because it was a bit off (while it isn't really necessary I recommend having someone with you watching so you get it straight while you're putting it up 😏) and even with that it still kept its full tension without loosening one bit. The rod's been up for a few weeks or so and I open and close the sheers multiple times a day. I have no doubt in the sturdiness of the rods tension and am confident I won't need to worry about it slipping at all. It was less expensive than the other two rods I was considering and in my opinion the best choice. There was no "twisting" one end to make it tight and no adjusting was necessary. The metal didn't give or bend, the fit is perfection, and it functions perfectly. I highly recommend this tension rod!

Given the length and construction this is a solid rod for under $40. We needed something that can reach 80+ inches across to hang a “blind” or canvas curtain along the western side of a porches could still be removed occasionally. We like the heft and ease of assembling this rod. Despite its intuitive assembly it still came with excellent instructions (see pics). Beware, the 3 sections don’t “stick” together so if you carry vertically, they’ll promptly disconnect/fall. The pkg also came with a pair of “surprise” wall mounts too. This was totally unnecessary because they are super cheap/ugly plastic hooks (albeit free). The only ding“ (pun intended) was a small dent on the middle of the center pole (see pic). This had to have occurred via a previous person’s return because the box and packing are excellent. I called Amazon and, upon confirming, they issued a small credit back (totally acceptable to us rather than Amazon paying all the shipping to exchange it). Very happy overall!

This is the best tension rod I've ever worked with. My curtain panels are held up with similar strength of rods secured to the wall. There is an optional bracket included to support the middle if desired, and also enclosed are side brackets to grasp parted panels. We have the rod out wide (close to 8 feet), and it's handling that length with no issues at all. The manufacturer includes a separate bar to elongate even further. There's no twisting as with other tension rods. This one uses a button in a hole system as shown. Excellent product and well worth the price. The rod is attractive and is highly recommended.

I bought this to use for a closet curtain. I originally ordered it based on the measured diameter of the end pieces. These measurements seem to be off a bit as it did not fit in the area that I was hoping it was. As such, with the help of a Dremel I was able to make it work. It is a solid curtain rod, even fully extended. My only complaint is that the fancier curtain rings I got for it do not work as it is a bit thicker than your average pole. My fault for not pairing them up better, but something to be aware of if you're getting something other than the traditional clip rings.

I bought this to use as a garland hangers between kitchen cab. Easy to use ! I'm an over achiever for Christmas! Perfect, Easy to use, quality!

I first ordered the BRIOFOX tension rod to hang up my heavy blackout curtains over a 60" width window. I thought they'd work fine, so I didn't bother ordering from another seller. Turns out they were an absolute nightmare to install by yourself. You need superhuman strength to pull the rod back and it uncoils so easily if you aren't careful. This rod from Refrze is a bit more expensive, but getting it will save yourself a headache. It's much easier to install because of the lock feature, plus I think it's sturdier. I'll give an additional rundown of this rod since I like it so much. STURDINESS: The body of the rod is made of metal; it definitely feels very sturdy and substantial. I believe the end caps are made of plastic, but I'm not 100% on that. They haven't proven to be a problem though so far. The rod has not fallen once yet ever since it was installed! EASE OF USE: The rod came with simple instructions and was easy to assemble. Installation was efficient and easy, because of the awesome lock feature. I think this is the only tension rod on Amazon that has it, but don't quote me on that. VALUE FOR MONEY: It's a bit more expensive than the average price for these tension rods, which seem to be around $20. I do think it's worth it though, mainly due to how stress-free assembly and installation is. I highly recommend this product. 👍

I needed a good quality curtain rod for my bedroom door entrance way. Some rods I found were not very good. This one was very easy to fit and is strong.

Check your package when it shows up came without the feet and one of the bars was crushed luckily I had extra feet from a bar. I previously ordered ridiculous. Must’ve been a returned item and nobody checked..

I was looking for a tension curtain rod that is 100" long. I could not find in it in big box stores. So, I looked online to search for it. Found this product. The rod is black. Good! Trendy. It is metal. Strong and sturdy. The construction is solid. It an hold heavy weight curtain. The instruction in setting up the rod is clear.

Great product and a good deal. I have a full wall of windows floor to ceiling which makes traditional rods impossible. Really appreciate they distribute a tension rod this wide. Good sturdy product. My drapes aren't heavy so no centre support has been required.
