The colors were more vibrant than I expected! Loved the sparkly colors too! I used 3 light coats of the burgundy color (461) and cured for 2 mins. Then used top coat from my Beetles nail kit and cured for 2 mins! Love the results, very shiny and smooth. Here’s a video of the colors in the Gingerbread pack! Will be coming back to see how long the colors last before chipping, but I would recommend so far!

the reviews don't lie when they say that you need to do thin coats. my first try I did them thicker than I thought I did and they peeled layer by layer it was very odd lol. but then I went in a second time and did 3 really thin coats and it lasted much longer. the color payoff is great I really like this product. im thinking about ordering some more summer colors. these are a little dark for this season but if its your style I do recommend.

I’ve had a pretty great overall experience with Beetles gel polish. I strongly believe it’s an AMAZING beginner gel nail polish. The colors are vibrant, I own 14 and all have been lovely, and the texture isn’t too thick or runny. Something unique is like to point out is the primer doesn’t dry. I apply a thin coat but it doesn’t dry, even at 120 seconds. None the less, when I apply my gel polish it still adheres and holds for weeks. Here are the steps I take (I am a beginner as well 1. Wash hand 2. File 3. Buff nails lightly 4. Use a dehydrator 5. Apply a primer 6. Apply the base and use UV light for 120 seconds 7 . Apply gel and use UV 60 seconds 8. Second coat of gel 60 seconds 9. Top coat 120 seconds. I’ve done every woman in my families nails. So easy! And they’re beautiful! I’m a nail biter, and this has deterred me from biting. 10/10

So I'm new to home gel nail polish so I'm gonna give this the benefit of the doubt. This is only my 3rd brand of gel polish so take this review with a grain of salt. I had first gotten a magnetic jelly gel that I loved and it lasted 3 weeks before it started showing wear and tear. So for the holidays I decided to try this set because of a sale. Pros: the nail polish is really pretty when layered on top of each other. I currently am using the solid color with the rose gold glitter as an ombre effect. I also tried the white as a French tip look. The polish consistency is easy to work with for the decorations. Cons: the first application I did a single coat of a different gel and used the white for French tips. It chipped on the corner after 2 days on 2 different fingers...just the white part. So I took it all off and decided to try again. The second time I decided to try using just this polish. I did the normal base coat, then 2 coats of the solid polish, a partial layer of the glitter polish, and then the clear top coat. I might have been slightly more active in that it was thanksgiving so extra cooking and dishwashing/cleaning...but man I had 3 nails chip on the corners and top edge. At least my actual nails showing through wasn't as noticeable because of the color scheme of a lighter base polish color. Polished on Wed, chipped on Thursday. My regular polish lasts longer than this! So overall while this color set is pretty and the glitter looks great (better than most) it just didn't last on my nails. I definitely don't have time to redo them every few days. So I probably won't be using this set that often.
