I bought this for my partner in early December because his circulation isn't what it used to be and he feels the cold. There are SO many scarves available and I really wanted to find something warm, which was also fashionable (as he likes to look good) and soft (sensitive skin, bless him!) but I also didn't want to spend a fortune.The cashmere scarves can be very expensive and some of the more expensive ones, didn't look anywhere near as nice as this and the price of this scarf was very competitive. I was so pleased when it arrived, it is ridiculously soft! Lambswool cashmere is a beautiful material. I am not kidding when I tell you he has worn it every day since, he literally lives in it.It washes well, don't tumble dry it through, let it dry on a radiator or hanging in the airing cupboard. You'll want to keep it for as long as you can without shrinking it.

Scarf was bought as a present. Was really soft, exactly the right size and warmth and the recipient loved it.

Lovely quality very pleased

I got it to store away as an advanced Xmas present for my sister-in-law, and it seems to be as described - pure lambswool. The colours of this particular tartan pattern are exactly what she'd like BUT my family's name is Kelly and the scarf's tartan's colour weave is also named 'Kelly' but not one I recognise. I am familiar with the slight variations with our family/clan tartans - both in Ireland and Scotland - but have definitely not come across the bright colour combinations in this one. Never mind, my sister-in-law will no doubt be amused by the name it is being sold under and - I suppose - that is why I got it as a present for her - plus the fact that it does suit her choices of strong reds and violet in clothing.Eamonn

Some may like this very much. I bought this for a present for my auntie whilst she's down from Scotland. Nice colour and quality. However I felt let down by the feel of it. Its not soft at all. Id recommended going for cashmere or something else tbh if you want snuggly soft material
