These bands work great to hold plastic liners in place in trash can, 5 gallon bucket, and also for holding things in place. They stretch quite well and do not break. They retain their elasticity. When they finally lose their elasticity, just replace, easy to do.

Superb quality rubber bands at a great price! And they really do stretch easily to secure can liners of any size between 10-20 gallon with ease! Take it from a 58 year old custodian - these rubber bands make my job SO much easier than trying to tie little knots to make the cheesy can liners stay secure! LOL FIVE STARS!!!

This is the kind of thing you don’t realize you need until after you try it at which point you wonder how you ever went without it in the first place. Sure, they’re not fancy in the slightest. They’re giant rubber bands for your trash can liners. Now that I’ve found them however, no looking back. They hold the kitchen trash bag securely, and do a great job. Sometimes they’ll get tossed with the trash bag but there are so many in the bag it’s no big deal. Otherwise, they seem like they’ll last for months individually.

Those works perfectly to hold a plastic bag securely, inside one of those plastic buckets you get at the hardware store. Unfortunately, they tend to get brittle very fast, especially if left outside under the sun.

I’m not using these on trash cans - I use them to hold towels over 2-gallon buckets for fermenting chicken feed, and they’re perfect for that. They stretch easily, hold tight, and haven’t worn out or snapped with repeated use. The size is just right for smaller buckets. And it retains the towels securely We’ve also used them to secure a level to a fence post during a project, and they held up great there too. They’re strong, flexible, and surprisingly handy to keep around. They only come in black, which isn’t a big deal, but if you’re looking for color options, just know these are strictly business. No complaints—just a really useful, durable product.

We have a kitchen trash can that fits beautifully in the cabinet under the sink, BUT not one single brand of trash bags fits the can!!! Before using this wonderful rubber band, anything and everything put in the trash bag made the bag fall into the can! Had to pull the bag up and adjust it every single time! Not good!!! Now, with one of these bands around the rim of the bag in the can, absolutely nothing…not one thing…no matter how heavy…makes the bag ever move…at all. Spectacular!!! I use these large bands for other purposes, too. For instance, to keep loose papers strapped to the inside of a three ring binder until I can file them in the notebook. The bands work great securing plastic covers that have seen better days to their glass bottom casseroles. After I have worked a jigsaw puzzle, and I can’t get the cover very far down over all the pieces again, these bands come to the rescue. If (ahem!) I (ever) don’t finish a bag of chips, I roll it up and put one of these bands around the bulge. The bands have never, ever broken, as smaller bands soooo often do, so these can be used over and over. You get so many in a bag, though, that it is not really necessary to reuse them, just possible. One more thing to love…a few of the bands are a little dab longer and a few others are a teensy bit thicker, both of which are realllllly nice things about them, too. Thank you sooo much, Alliance! I picked these up specifically for holding plastic bags in place around all our trash bins. Initially, I only intended to use them for when we repurpose small shopping bags in a trash bin. But, they worked so darn well, I wound up using them even when we had trash bags designed for the bin, such as our Simple Human containers. It may sound silly, but I love that I got these for our trash bins around the house! When we empty the ones where we don't throw the bags away every time, the bags no longer fall out, either. Finally, the Simple Human bags don't get bunched up when you put the plastic bin into its container with the lid. They actually go in a lot easier.

I use these for holding garbage bags on to trash cans but these are great to have for many other uses. They are strong and will hold up to lots of use. Great rubber bands to have around, especially when you need one a little larger and stronger than a standard rubber band.

these are amazing I use them to hold my black sack in place in my bin and also for my food compost bin it holds the green bag in place nice and thick and perfect size its one of those things you didn't know you needed I saw them on you tube and had been looking for something other than string and elastic bands were not big enough.
