Great lunchbox
I got this for my son to be able to heat up food if I'm out. He has autism and a form of epilepsy and isn't allowed to use the cooker, microwave, etc if no one is there to supervise. With this lunchbox he can put in food to be heated, the lid clamps on and has a carry handle if it needs to be moved. He can plug it in in the lounge whilst he's watching TV or playing games on his phone, and in approximately (depending on food and original temperature of food)45 minutes, he has a hot lunch. Once the lunchbox reaches its maximum temperature, it then keeps food warm. The outside of the lunchbox gets slightly warm, but not hot, and the carry handle on top means that you don't need to touch the bottom of the box anyway. It has metal cutlery stored in a compartment on the lid, which is very handy. The metal dish inside the lunchbox lifts out for washing. I'm really pleased with this item, and so is my son, as it means he can have hot food, which he can heat himself, so gives him some independence. I would definitely buy again, if this lunchbox wears out!! I would also like to say that I had to contact the seller with an enquiry, and they were extremely helpful and dealt with my query very quickly and efficiently. Note:. This only heats up pre-booked food, does not "cook" food

Ideal for van dwellers
Hardly ever leave product reviews but this is an absolute game changer. I live in a micro-camper, so it's quite difficult to cook and wash up. Especially cooking inside when it's raining. If I've had a really long day at work and can't be bothered to cook something proper I usually have something cold like sandwiches, snacks, or a drive-thru/takeaway etc... I only eat vegan food too, so even fewer no-cook choices in shops. I thought I'd give this product a go because there are plenty of vegan ready meals, soups, curries etc.. now and all they really need is warming through. I have a modest solar panel set up going into a Jackery 1000 power station so a small device like this is fine to heat up. I did a test with a full-size can of beans in an aluminium container (see picture). It's currently 20c room temperature in my house. I heated the beans for 45 minutes and they came out steaming. Not crazy hot, but plenty hot enough to eat. This device draws about 40w. When it first started it was as high as 50w, but only for a few minutes. When it got up to temperature it dropped down to 33w. So I'd say 40w average is a good estimate. My 45-minute test only took 3% of my 1000wh Jackery battery. Don't know how much it affects cooking time, but I'd definitely recommend using the aluminium containers for easy cleanup. A large one takes up the whole space, and a small one can also fit the little plastic tub it comes with. Excellent for ready meals that come with rice to steam separately with a bit of water.

Great little tool.
I purchased this for use when I go into the forest working on car rallys. 2 pasties fit well if you remove the dish for liquids. I heated the pasties for 30 minutes while driving to my stage and while hot enough to eat they would have been even better if I had given then another 10 minutes. The lid is a tight fit for keeping the heat in and the metal insert is easily removed for cleaning. The outside can be cleaned with a damp cloth. The lid also hold a fork and spoon which can be used for most food you can heat up. It comes with both household and car power leads and if the car lead had been a bit longer I would have given it 5 *. This is a handy thing to have if you are travelling. Being past my prime I no longer have babies, but I THINK it could be used for heating milk for a baby, but test it first if you intend do this. To show how impressed I am with this, I bought a second one for a friend, who also loves it.

Great little electric lunchbox
My wife bought this. I thought it was a waste of money until I tried it. It comes with a car lighter plug and a 240v mains plug. I put some soup in it early one morning and left it on my desk plugged into the mains. It slowly warms the food via a low-wattage heater, then keeps it at just the right temperature. Takes maybe an hour to heat a tin of soup fully. At lunch time it is there on my desk full of warm soup and because it heats slowly to a specific temperature, you don't end up with a saucepan with burned or congealed food on the bottom which is difficult to wash. Have yet to try this in the car, but could be good on long journeys in winter - it can slowly heat food to be ready when you have a break in your journey. Note however that I don't think it is particularly insulated. So if you park your car for an hour (which will turn the power off) I am not sure how warm the contents would be when you return.

Hot stuff!!
I have used this for a week now and I am very impressed so far. I have heated pies, asparagus, noodles with veg & vegan chicken, tinned sweetcorn and ready meals and the food has come out piping hot every time. Depending on the type of food you are having it can take between 30-60 minutes to heat your meal. I have only used it through the 12volt socket and it draws about 74 watts which is higher than in the description but this could be because of the power bank that I use. The cable would benefit from being longer and the plastic does feel a little cheap but for this price point you can’t really grumble about that. Overall it’s a fantastic piece of kit for van lifers, lorry drivers or those wanting to save money.

Slow
The product looks decent, but the heating performance is disappointing. It takes much longer than expected to warm the food, which makes it inconvenient for office or travel use. Overall, the heating speed definitely needs improvement

Great product
Great for hot lunches at work. I do care in the community, I plugged in the car socket, 45 minutes later when I arrived at my destination my roast dinner was steaming hot. Be great for the winter and will make a change from sandwiches or salad. I would definitely recommend. Arrived next day, shame the delivery driver left it outside on the steps instead of putting in my safe place.

I bought this for use in the car but ut doesn't have the faculty to use a 12v plug, yet it's advertised as such.
