Brought it a few months ago for $250, I noticed the price has gone up, but still a valuable security system. It can be connected to network modem or router with ethernet cable but I don't it want to. I prefer keeping everything local and wired. It has AI settings where I can enable/disable detection of vehicle, motion, or human. I enabled human only for mine cuz I live in suburb area. If you live in rural farm or have long private driveway then you might want to enable vehcile detection plus you could do that on any listing cameras up to 16. DVR has usb plug in front if you want to back up captured video. You would need a monitor for Zosi DVR. Monitors are cheap, low as $50. It doesn't come with microphone but you can order whichever types to your preference on Amazon, I brought one for $15 that also have 60 feet cable like for cameras. Before I got Zosi, my old expensive wifi cameras had trouble with connections also risks of hacking by others who want to exploit for whatever reasons. Could be to keep eye on their vehicles parking on the street thru their cellphones. This is why I prefer everything wired within my control. Zosi has better pictures and settings than my old wifi cameras from Isotech company that no longer doing security camera business. The only pain part is hooking up cables between dvr and cameras throughout attic. I had to make a hole into my garage ceiling for cables to go thru to my dvr. I like Zosi customer service, they will answer whatever issues you may have. I have researched on many security camera brands for weeks to months trying to find something simple and better user control, Zosi got my vote.

Excellent replacement camera for.my old system. Very clear.images same.simple setup and installation. Best value purchase if you are needing to replace your old burned out cameras.

System works pretty good. Wish the adapter was for 8 cameras, it came with the one for the 4 cameras.

I am very impressed with this camera. I originally bought one for myself, and after trying it for a few days, I liked it so much that I bought a second one for my parents back in Europe. The picture quality is very clear, the setup is simple, and the app works smoothly. The night vision and motion detection are excellent, and it gives great peace of mind whether I’m home or away. My parents had no trouble using it either, even though they’re not very tech-savvy. It’s reliable, lightweight, and works exactly as described. Overall, this is a great camera for the price. Highly recommended!

Works good, Clear picture .

This product fails. After a year and a half, the power supply failed. I had to pay to replace it. After another year and a half the second power supply failed. After replacing it the DVR would not come on. I was instructed by ZOSI Support to upgrade my bios which I did. That did not fix the issue. I was instructed to unplug the hard drive and try to boot it which did not work. I was instructed to upgrade the bios with the hard drive disconnected, which I did and it still did not work. After a week of emails with support they finally determined that the DVR is not working. I was informed that their warranty was two years and if my device was out of warranty that I would be responsible for shipping it back to them and repairs. I was informed it probably would be cheaper to purchase a newer device and they offered a 10% discount. Honestly, why would I buy another product from them if their device does not last more than 3 years. These devices are important in maintaining security for your home or business. Do not purchase this product since you are going to have to replace it sooner than later. To be transparent after the second power supply was obtained the DVR would not go past the system initializing screen. When I was upgrading, the screen did indicate that it was upgrading then go to the system initializing screen and freeze.

Cameras are very good. Night vision is highly effective. 3 stars because the system needs the hard disk to function properly. You'll need install one. $65 for a good terabyte size (2025), so add that to the total cost.

Camera is awesome. Love wired cameras only because no worries about someone hacking into WIFI to see what we're up to. Use as a front entry security camera with my HDMI converter (a very inexpensive little 2"x2" box that powers thru USB port on TV and converts analog signal to HD) so I can use with my HDMI inputs on TV. Don't need a VCR as I am watching not recording. Already had the 2amp power (for 100' of BCN cable) supply and BCN cable and adapters to reach far outside the front porch to the TV. This setup is far less costly than other setups and anyone can do it. The only downside is that these cameras are difficult to angle at 90° with the mounts that don't allow for a lot of wire movement in the mount. I had to take the all the way out to turn the mount 90° and it took forever, a few choice words and way too much patient to get it back in and keep it at 90°. Finally got it, and for the price, a little work is okay for the outcome

***UPDATE. Cameras went through 1 month of extreme cold weather. -25C to -35C. No physical damage to camera. Image quality did not change. Excellent security system. Purchased as a starter set. Just to know what is going on. Did not expect any great image quality or fancy options. System went through summer heat over +30C without an issue. Went through rain and fog flawlessly. No distortion in image quality. It is rated for cold weather to -10C. Using it for the past week in around -13C to -25C. This still working perfectly. No cracks on a plastic housing of cameras. Image quality has not changed. If something will change I will update this review. Operation system is very straightforward. Easy to use user interface. Many features are not working for the cameras this system comes with. I purchased a SSD(solid state drive) for this system since I often use it on a vehicle driven over bumpy roads. And regular HD often can get damaged from excessive vibration due to moving parts. SSD(Kingston 480GB A400 SATA 3) performs very well. 4 Cameras record for weeks on this drive until it is full. I use the lowest resolution 1024x768. I have tried the highest and I do not really see much difference. Highest resolution makes user interface more jerky and annoying. Zosi DVR with my SSD is completely silent. You do not even know it is there. Never used the system online, yet. Night vision quality is great at close range. But decreases with distance. I , also, disconnected the night vision on cameras facing area with enough lightning. It provides a better picture since you can see colors. There is no way to disable night vision on the cameras system comes with through software. So you have to remove few screws from camera, take the housing off, and disconnect small wire going to LED board. It takes about 2 minutes. Make sure you do not discard silica bag inside. Camera needs it to absorb moisture inside camera. Overall, I believe this system is a super deal for what you get. It is dirt cheap. Image quality is great for the cheapest possible camera. In fact image quality is BETTER that my LOREX 1080 which cost me 3 times more. I am a very picky customer, but this product is amazing.

Good unit it works fine, it’s working well with my old DVR. For the price the performance is ok. But its range, video quality is not the best if you want more resolution.
