Petzl Spiky Plus Anti-slip Over-Shoe

not that grand.

bought these spiky slip on shoes for my mother, mother-in-law, both daughters and wife, all have said they are easy to put on and take of when going round the supermarket, give them confidence whilst out walking on the icy paths and roads and the spikes haven't worn down when they walk on non-icy parts of the path, got myself a larger pair and i think their pretty good, the spikes aren't very long (six in total#, Though the shoes do slip a little depending on the surface and the spikes haven't worn down or bent under my weight #18 stone)I'm heavy but do enjoy walking so they have had a reasonable trial. worth buying as the last time i fell on the ice i broke my ankle pretty badly.

This is an excellent product for icy conditions. The only drawback is walking in snow. There is too great a surface area of flat rubber covering the tread on your boots so can actually be more slippy in that instance.

Useful in the recent snowy and icy weather, not too great on hard packed ice. Easy to put on and take off
