tasty chewy sour. Not bad

First off the bag came delivered with a small hole in the middle of it. Not the sellers fault, but still kind of gross. I still tried one chew in case I wanted to order a replacement. It was almost mushy and way too sweet. Not very tart at all.

Along with the green apple fruit sours, I found these to be ideal as Christmas candy, and my family enjoyed the mix of the two. I plan to serve them separately as the twelve days of Christmas continue, enabling everyone to enjoy the cherry taste individually. A pound of these was all I needed to satisfy everyone.

These are great - but there are always about 10% stuck together. A higher percentage than other cherry balls I've had, but these taste great!

This review has nothing to do with the taste of the candy because I didn't eat any of them myself. I purchased them to place on top some cupcakes I made for a children's birthday party. I was looking for a cherry-shaped candy that was nicely colored and lightweight to place atop layers of frosting. This product was just right. They have a gloss over them that doesn't bleed into the frosting, which is perfect. They are solid, but if you put some force on it you'll discover that they are soft candies, not hard. I looove soft candies, so this was a good thing for myself. They were super lightweight, so when I put it on top of the cupcake it sat PERFECTLY! I know this sounds so technical, but if you're a baker and like to do fun decorating, this could be something important to you! No one wants a smushed cupcake because of a super heavy candy. Peek at my photo to see what I mean. Great product.

I was DESPERATE for this candy. I tried this brand because my usual was out of stock. Overall, the flavor is nice. It definitely has a small sour kick, didn’t really get the sweet. I discovered the sour part the hard way after eating lot and was stuck with that painful tongue burn feeling that happens when you eat too much of something sour at once. The actual inside of the Cherry sour has a super tough texture. It’s not unpleasant, just not as soft as I thought it would be for a chewy candy. And the amount that I got for the price, I was slightly disappointed. Taking all that into account, that’s why I rated 3/5. It’s NOT terrible, but it could definitely use some improvements.
