Good quality at a good price
These shoe trees are good quality and have all the features I look for - cedar wood to keep shoes fresh and odor-free, a tension rod to maintain the shape of the shoe, a good finish with no burrs or rough patches, and an overall elegant look and feel. They are also from major brand, which - though not necessary - is a plus. I have had these shoe trees for almost a year, and I have been very satisfied with them. I got them on sale for 30% off, which means I was able to get a name brand for about the same price I would ordinarily pay for a generic brand. Nice.

Greay quality product out of the box
(08/06/2019) These shoe trees are amazing out of the box. I don't know how well they will hold up but they look well made. Time will tell. No flaws or defects out of the box, and they were packaged well. These will definitely work on many different types of mens dress shoes. From the looks of it, these are made in the USA. Price is great. I don't remove the shoe trees frequently so they won't be used but maybe once a week. I will update my review every so often. (05/12/2020) This is why my Grandfather loved the Florsheim name. I have used these frequently, meaning I've removed them and reinserted them, more often then I had thought (or just left them in shoes I rarely use) and they are still holding up well. My grandfather passed down a few of his Florsheim cedar shoe trees to me from way back when, that seem more durable than this version even, but I digress. Both have held up amazingly. These are easy to use and maintain the shape well. I wouldn't buy any other shoe tree moving forward. Unfortunately I have seen some faulty items on the reviews and it seems so many people leave bad reviews in the moment instead of giving the company a chance to correct the issue. We live in an imperfect society and so many expect perfection immediately. I want to know when someone had a defective item and what their experience was like trying to rectify the situation because I get defective items from time to time too, doesn't make the product bad. Needless to say, I've bought the cheap shoe tree made from plastic and other woods and I will never waste my money again on something other than Florsheim. Florsheim have been the only shoe trees in my experience that can handle the test of time. Although it has been just under a year since my purchase, I feel that with continuous use and the product still hasn't failed it was worth the update. Plus it still keeps my shoes fresh which is the benfit of cedar. I love these shoe trees!

Pleased
Very good shoe trees. I bought these after researching shoe trees, and watching a shoe tree guru on YouTube. According to the guru, you don't need that many shoe trees, and they only need to be used in the shoes that have just been worn for the day. Then, ideally, leave the shoe trees in the worn, sweaty shoes for at least 24 hours. Previously I had thought you needed a pair of shoe trees for each pair of shoes and that they should be stored with them in at all times. Apparently that's not the case. So I decided to invest in the recommended wooden cedar shoe trees , since I don't need as many pairs as I thought (and avoid the cheap plastic trees). As for the Florsheim trees, I like the quality and they work well for my shoes. They seem to fit tight, but not over tight for the various shoes. The wood is nice quality and seems well constructed. They come in a nice box, too. So far I can tell a difference in using them, it definitely helps keep my shoes from getting too bent and creased. The nice Florsheim labels have the potential to come off if you pick at it, it's not metal or screwed in, but adhered well.

Top notch
I've got four or five pairs of these -- they're probably the best deal on shoe trees out there right now. Top notch quality and they do exactly what they're supposed to; nothing particularly fancy but they help keep your shoes in shape for a reasonable price. I literally have nothing bad to say about them.

Good, Basic, not great
Works as designed, just wish there were more adjustments available. As it is, the only adjustment is a spring that automatically extends the length based on its set strength. Would be great if you could manually set the length and if you could manually adjust the instep so as to expand new shoes better.

Quality Item
These are good quality shoe trees that adapt to the internal dimensions of the shoe. The construction is solid and the cedar smell is very pleasant. I have gotten into the habit of putting these into my shoes after a long day's work and they do indeed help my thinner leather shoes keep their shape. They are also great for working with the shoes while polishing them. The great thing about these particular trees is the adaptable toe for fitting into a variety of shoe styles, and the whole heel with handle for easy grip while using them or polishing your shoes. If you have spent a lot of money on shoes and want to keep them fresh, then these are the go-to shoe trees. Make sure you get the right size for the shoes they will be used with. They should be firm in the shoe but not stretching out the leather but not too loose to make good contact with the leather. UPDATE: Having now tried several brands of cedar shoe trees, I recommend these most highly due to the full heal construction, which puts even pressure across the heal and maintains the most natural shape. Others with a smaller heal seem to distort the shape.
