Kingdom Man: Every Man's Destiny, Every Woman's Dream

i bought this book as i am going through a family crisis in my life. i've made mistakes, i was not the best husband, father, son, brother, Christian man i could be. I ordered this book in July when my wife of 5yrs love of 8 years walked out the door with our 3 beautiful children. i didnt know what to do. i didnt know how to get her back. Most importantly i didnt know where to start in correcting my mistakes. I do not have the awesome success story that movies are made of. But this book is a sincere wake up call to all Men of Faith out there. This book is a gift from GOD to set me up on solid ground as i walk in faith in with him. I am working on rebuilding my life one day at a time and I now have the strong burning desire to be nothing more than a True Kingdom Man of GOD. I dont know where my future lies with my family but i trust that GOD is always on time. At the young age of 31 i've seen my share of pain. This book will help to ensure that with GOD on my side i will not see more pain in the future. Whatever you are going through or if you are simply to improve yourself as a man. This book is a must read!

Great resource for men. I m a 30yr old guy, no kids and wife (as yet). Reading this in preparation because I’m getting serious with a young lady in my life and want to start gathering information and insight in preparation. Overall as far as I can see, men are failing all around me and many of us don’t realize it’s because we are lacking the power of God because of indecision for Him or being lukewarm when we do choose Him. I want to be action oriented, firm in my convictions, not idle, progressive in my career, passionate in the way I love, protective of my family, WISE, level-headed and so much more. These assets (in their fullness), can only come from a personal relationship with God. This book won’t give you that relationship, but it was definitely very helpful in getting me back on track and exposing some new insights. If you are older than me, it’s not too late. If you’re younger than me, even better! Men stand up. Great book. I would definitely recommend.

This book was an excellent read. I purchased the book in order to use as a reference for my Father's Day sermon this year. However, after further reading I found that it not only spoke to the men in my congregation, it also encouraged me as a woman and as a pastor. I felt lead to teach a series on it. I must admit that I was a little reluctant because I wanted it to be received from the men in my congregation being that it was coming from their female pastor. I gave my concerns to the Lord because I really wanted my men to walk away as empowered as I was after reading this book. I want you to know that the men would come to me after church and dialogue about some of the things they heard during the sermon(s). The women in my church responded and told me the changes they could see in their spouses. However, what I found more surprising were the compliments I received from the little boys in my church about the series! OMG, they were listening too! God is so AWESOME and I thank God for using Dr. Evans to write this book!

I knew nothing about Tony Evans before deciding to read the book, but this is a well researched and well written book that will truly teach you manageable ways that you can take action to allow God to transform your life, your family, and the world around you.

I've listened to Tony Evans preach on several subjects and topics, I've even heard bits and pieces of what he shares in "Kingdom Man", but Tony has a way of putting together and delivering his messages in a clear, easy to follow, easy to read manner. His confronts us, encourages us and challenges us men to enjoy and embrace the greatness of being a man after God's own heart. This read is important for every man! God calls all men, and He calls us to be Godly men, Tony shows us what that man should look like, how he should walk, talk, take care of his family. America would be a much stronger nation if our men could all read this book.

Amazing book

I like this book. I believe it puts a proper view of a man's position under God and being a husband and a family leader. It is excellent for those who did not have a good example of Godly fatherhood and it reinforces the need for men to take responsibility. If your a man who is emotionally and spiritually in boyhood and you want to learn what it is to be a true man, this is a great book to read and study. I would however say that this is not the only book you need and if your girlfriend/ wife is a "strong willed" personality this book could cause you to initially interact in ways or present yourself in ways that may seem too assertive to that personality type. We are to love without the expectation of getting anything in return, so as with any book that concentrates on God and living in submission to God's will and rule over your life, if you are not surrendered to that than you will not see much benefit from this book. However, Tony Evans is a man who know's God's word and speaks from God's word. There isn't much here where he speaks from his own opinion - his own experience, but not his own opinion. He is a confident (no arrogant) man who is seeking to help the reader apply God's word to their life. It is a beneficial read for those new to the faith and also those mature in their faith. I also believe this should be read with other books that also speak directly from God's word concerning being a God-fearing husband and a man of character because we are not all made the same. If you are open to the Spirit of the Lord and have recognized where you have faults and are not living upright with a "servant's" mind for God's will this will be a beneficial book.

This is a brilliantly written book, challenging Christian men to live up to following Christ … in their personal lives, families, church, and communities. Making a difference that reflects God’s purposes for our communities. A must-read for all Christian men!

This is a book you can actually recommend for a man to read. If this book were a man it would be a Bible carrying man (leather of course) with a beard every other man would envy as he drives his entire family to church for the mid-week service even though he lead the family in morning devotions only hours earlier. Has to be one of the most practical and Biblical books out there on how to be a man of God (beard or no beard).

This book illustrates the role of men in life, in the family, in the church and with our LORD GOD and Jesus Christ at our side through the Holy Spirit. Faith, Purpose and Destiny are net in one book. I Pray for thus message to be shared and taught to all men of all ages and of all races. God Bless
