Tao Kae Noi Original Hi-Tempura Seaweed 40 g

I used to buy these years ago from Tesco as a treat but they’ve sadly been discontinued. Completely forgot about them til I spotted them on an Asian snack website. Not wanting to spend £5 on a bag, I checked Amazon and so pleased to find them at the price I paid at the supermarket! These little crispy snacks are so addictive, I’m not even ashamed to admit I wolfed down an entire packet in one sitting. They’re probably a bit of an acquired taste - dried seaweed on batter/cracker. They taste prawny with a small hit of chilli, so incredibly moreish. Will be ordering more in future!

I was only going to try a packet of these; I bought a few so my family could try them as well - you know, being thoughtful and whatnot. Unfortunately, nobody else managed to get even a passing glimpse of one of these little puffs of crispy goodness because something happened to me when I took a bite - I don’t know what exactly but I suspect demonic possession - and suddenly I was surrounded by empty packets, my body now at least 82% seaweed snack, and I was so full I could barely breathe. Of course this is very much a me kind of problem. If you’re a normal, human person you’ll probably have a packet, think “oh how nice I’ll purchase that again” and then go about your day. So, yes these are great. A little bit salty, a little bit crunchy, and a whole lot of tasty. I’m just not allowed to be left alone with more than one packet now.

The best snack I've ever tasted for sure but you guys are similar to "walkers" where you are almost selling air 😫 Please make a LARGE pack! Would love to have a bigger bag that is fuller. Other than that, honestly, I'll continue to buy these on subscribe and save just based on the incredible flavour. Good job 👏

Obviously, these things aren't the most healthy for you to consume but they taste so good, I'd become addicted if they weren't so expensive. I mean related to other foreign food on amazon, they are cheap but the packs are half full, and I can't bring myself to buy more.

So. Damn. Tasty! I had never heard of these, until amazon suggested them.. So Thankyou Amazon! Had no real idea what to expect, and im not sure how to describe the flavour or texture.. but the short version is.. every thing about these is PERFECT! Shall be buying more, and going to try topping them on noodles. Delivery was near instant, product is mindblowing, price could be considered high for how much you get and how long they last.. but im more than happy to pay it! Try em!

Absolutely can't get enough of these! Who would have thought that seaweed can taste so good! 😋 It is usually stocked at the Asian supermarkets at the snacks section. This isn't the spicy version, but I could taste a mild hint of spice in it. You don't really get a lot in the bag. Definitely a firm favourite! Really worth trying if you haven't yet done so!

So yummy. Just such a shame its so dear for what you get. The packet is a quarter full, the rest of the packet was air!!! I really want to order more it's the best I've had however it will have to be an occasional treat due to the price and contents amount.

These are slightly spicy but a great size for snacking. I don't finish a whole bag in one sitting but others might.

Delicious snack, crunchy and spicy. Good size/quantity for the price paid.
