Clovelly Soap Co Natural Handmade Deodorant Balm Sicilian Bergamot 60g Glass Jar

I've been using natural deodorant for a while now (7+ years) & more are coming out. I've tried numerous brands & the good ones tend to be expensive, but u get wot u pay for! I like to mix it up & use different ones. This one showed up on amazon & had good reviews so I thought I'd give it a go, especially as the ingredients are very similar to another brand I use (Clean Deodorant company) & this one is at least £5 cheaper. Well, I'm really impressed! The consistency is lovely - creamy & smooth. I would imagine it might harden slightly in colder weather (its a natural product!) but it does soften if you rub between fingers etc. A little goes a long way too so I would imagine this will last a few months too. I bought the Sicilian lemon & it smells lovely! I cant wait to try the other fragrances. & it really works! I used this throughout the intensive heat recently & although I was sweating (as our bodies are meant to!) I did not smell of B.O at all....in fact, no smells at all, just a light whiff of lemon. I highly recommend this & I'm glad I've bought a great Natural deo that doesn't break the bank! Thanku Clovelly!

After doing alot of research into natural deodorants and looking around i decided on this one! And it was a good choice. I have been using it for almost a week now and it hasnt let me down. I was all ready for the first few weeks to be a bit smelly and stressful as i had read that thats what happens when you initially swop to a natural deodorant. But with this one i havent had any issues and would say its more effective then my old aluminium spray one! Really, really surprised me. It lasts all day with my running round after two children and i smell fine by evening. My only slight issue with it is that the lovely smell isnt as strong as i would like. But it is a lovely smell. I also would recommend when you have to shave your underarms, do so the night before and applying the deodorant in the morning and no issue with stinging. If you are comsidering moving to natural deodorant but not sure where to start...try this one!

I've always liked this brand's natural deodorant; long lasting and beautiful scents to choose from. Harsh on the budget though

Great fast service. This deodorant is very easy to apply and rubs in with no sticky feeling. The scent is really nice and it works well. Very pleased

I've been using Clovelly natural deodorant for five years now. It is easy to apply, smells wonderful, and keeps me dry. It has never left a stain on my clothes, and my skin is lovely and soft. Compared to similar products, it's good value and comes without any plastic. I love it.

Smells really good, but less than a minute after applying it (to clean skin - straight after my shower) it started to sting. I tried to tough it out, but after a few minutes it was unbearable - stinging and burning. Back in the shower I went, and washed it off. 5 hours later my pits are red and angry. I've never (knowingly) used a deodorant with bicarb in it before, so maybe that was it - maybe I'm allergic or just really, really sensitive to bicarb. A couple of other deodorants in the past have caused me rashes: Mitchum, and one batch of Pitrok Crystal (the first batch I used was brilliant; the second caused a small rash). But nothing I've ever used has actually caused unbearable pain like this stuff. Shame, as it does smell great. No idea how effective it would have been as a deodorant though.

Fully absorbent with no residue. Lovely application, and lasts for over 24hrs

Best avoided - such a shame.
