Fun toy keeps you active
Great purchase for the price. Initially I wasn’t expecting much at all. But it surpassed my expectations. Even on. Low pile rug it operated fairly well; but best on a non carpeted floor. However if playing on low pile can be easily controlled for a child under 8 with no socks on as it can move faster for a child on a smoother surface and therefore cause them to chase it rather than to just play with another person. It is nicely lit/bright and easy to see in the dark and can also be played by adults and teens. Great exercise and fun for all ages overallAnd best for 5/6 above for eye hand coordination benefit.

fun but does not last much
very smooth and fun at first, not very durable, alittle noisy.

Bought 3 sets, for young relatives
Have bought 3 sets, for young relatives. The toy works well and the kids always enjoyed. Be sure there is a smooth, not carpeted floor space for playing with this.

Missing Battery Connectors
Guess I should have read more of the one star reviews. I bought the two pack (someone else said this seemed like a common thing) and as far as I know one works great and the other doesn't even have connectors for two of the batteries. Some people posted about two springs in one battery compartment but I'm literally missing connectors. I saw a review of how fun of a toy this was, so I ordered it then and there (September) for Christmas. I only opened the box on Christmas Eve to slip in 4 batteries so they could actually play with it on Christmas if they wanted to. Now my return window is closed and I can't seem to find a way to even contact Loose Moose. I really feel screwed on this purchase, especially knowing others have found the same thing. Now I either get to order a single one, which is more expensive per item, plus I'm out what I already paid, OR I just have to say "oh, sorry your Christmas present sucks and is useless"1-5-24: REVIEW UPDATE & TWO STARS ADDED: After quite a search I did find a number to call. I had to get in the que and they'd call me back, which I admittedly doubted. However, they DID call me back and they sent me another 2 pack and the shipping was super fast, I'm frustrated it's not just me that has had to deal with this, but at least I got mine replaced. Now let's hope they last!

Big hit in our house
Both of my sons love to play soccer and it rains a lot where we live and they want to play inside and this has made it possible for them to play inside! My kids love these, kicking them and chasing after them, constantly laughing! It’s also a big hit for birthday gifts, our friends love them too!

Defective Item
I ordered the 2 pack and only 1 was defective, and this I was supposed to be a CHRISTMAS GIFT. As you can see, it takes 4 batteries total, and the spring on 1 is missing and the flat plate is missing on another. So this one can only actually take 2 batteries, which means it does not work. I called Amazon customer service about it and was told that I could return the one product and get a full refund for it, but after we got off the phone I did not receive a confirmation email of such, and my refund was not started either. So I called again the next day to figure out the details of my return, since I did not get them the first time. After talking to the second agent, I was told that the only option was to return both objects, after I had already informed the agent that the other object was given as a Christmas gift so it cannot be taken back. Again she said “ after you return the 2 items you will review refund”, so I asked to speak to her supervisor, the agent then told me the supervisor was going to tell me the same thing, implying I should not make the request. I assured her I still wanted to speak to the supervisor so she rudely said “you’re being transferred”. The supervisor randomly comes onto the line and says something inaudible but it was very rude and fast and grouchy sounding, like she did not want to speak to me about this issue anyway. I asked her what she said and she replied “you have defective item right?” And I replied yes and she then told me I have to return both items, to which I informed her that I already gave the other as a gift and I could settle for a partial refund or a replacement, but she was not trying to give me any other options and insisted that their system would not allow them to give partial refunds or replacements, when I’ve received a replacement before. I said something very rude back and hung up in her face and I received an email from her threatening to deactivate my account, not knowing that I will be cancelling my subscription either way. Moral of the story, don’t buy this item in a 2 pack for 2 different humans if possible.
