Canon AVC-DC400ST Stereo AV Cable

I bought my T2i used and it didn't have a cable with it. I used magic lantern firmware on my T2i/550d and I wanted to do headphone monitoring instead of playing the guessing game with audio. I had always used settings that I knew would work and played around in post if needed. Now I get great audio levels every time.Used with a rode videomic by the way.Simple and effective.

I bought this for my Canon SX500 And my Canon Sx 510 hs.... you use this cable to hook to your camera and then with plug it into your tv directly to view your pictures or into your DVR OR VCR to copy your pictures to either Disc or Vcr Tape... this cable is a Cannon original Cable so its made for these cameras.... works well very happy.... with it

This was actually a gift for my brother so this is a 2nd person review. He bought a new Canon SX260 HS and wanted to view his video recordings on our flatscreen TV. This cable does just the trick. You plug the small cable into the camera and the 3 color-coded cables into the TV socket, and you can watch what you recorded on the big screen in HD! You can also view photos on the TV too. He's happy with the quality of cable and the ease of use. Just plug and play.

It didn't work. I tried several different ways and it never downloaded my photos.

The product is great, but there are some limitations of the camera with it that I'd wish Canon would change. primarily that you can't use the screen and the cable at the same time, so it makes it hard to use during a live event.

THIS CABLE DIDN'T COME WITH MY DIGITAL CAMERA. I WAS GLAD TO BE ABLE TO FIND IT. IT ALLOWS YOU TO VIEW PICTURE SLIDESHOWS FROM YOUR DIGITAL CAMERA ON OLDER MODEL TELEVISIONS. IT WORKS GREAT I WOULD RECCOMEND IT.
