Great price for an excellent addition to tools.My iron pan shelves are nice & secure, on a thin plasterboard wall, thanks to this tool. I purchased the Fischer expansion anchors for their quality & those work perfectly with this tool.Yes you can tighten the fixings by hand but this tool is one quick action & you know the anchors are spread behind the plasterboard.Ensure you watch a video of the tool being used before using.Make sure the black inner plate holds the screw head 'the inside black piece which comes forward as in image 2 as you open/release the handles' because people make the mistake of not making sure the inner moving part is fully forward as in image 1 where it is not ready for use.Please note no parts are made of plastic as mentioned in an erroneous review .. the inside part is metal I have 2 and assure you of this.The work fine for M5 size anchors which I have used Fischer M5 on the items in the third image.

Works well, however needs a strong grip to get the compression started.

Does what it says on the box. Still going strong. Highly recommended.

Bought for a DIY small project that needed 10 anchors. I’ve previously managed to use anchors with varying success without this tool. However it was competitively priced so I thought I’d buy one. I used it for small M4 anchors. To make things easier using the tool I used a slightly larger washer than the one on the anchor, this made it very easy to use. Can’t comment on what it would be like on larger anchors, but it worked well and saved time.

You’ll need this setting tool if you are going to use the Molly hollow metal cavity fixings - you won’t be able to secure them otherwise. This tool is very sturdy, well made and very easy to use (and the best price I could find). I used it to hang coat racks on my kids hollow bedroom doors. I was very impressed at how secure the racks are. I have used the yellow rawl-plug type fixings before but these are much better, much stronger.

So easy to use and perfect for the job… I won’t be using any other type of fixing process for plasterboard with a cavity from now on! Brilliant!

Really good, much better than struggling to do it manually. A great addition to the toolbox!

Lot easier to install mollybolts with this than drill and screwdriver. Not many to put in so no comment on durability of tool.
