Dessi Handmade damascus Steel Folding Utility Tool. Legal to carry in UK.1683

I bought this knife along with another with a different handle and they are near perfect + arrived sooner then expected :-) The knives have a hefty weight to them, every side of the metal has a damascus finish and they just look stunning and because a bought two the maker gave me a free portable knife sharper! He also wrote me a note saying he will give a full refund if we return the knife within 30 days no questions along with return postage. In the letter you can tell English isn't his first language but the fact that he has put in the effort shows this guy is really a top man :-D It's not faulless, it is hand crafted so there are a few scrapes, mostly on the joins but they a barely noticeable and probably something I'd eventually do to it anyway so.can easily be forgiven. The only thing that has me a tad confused is that in the letter he wrote he states the price is £39.99 while on here (and what I paid) it's says it's £59.99 Either way if you like knives or just appreciate a good piece of kit that you know has had a lot of work and love put into it a would highly recommend this knife :-)

Knife isn't sharp enough for a paper test when it arrives. Handle seem's to be made of cured resin, not bone. (It stinks of plastic) Steel seem's to be printed, not Damascus. It did come pre-oiled, it's fairly weighty but just disappointing, a chrome two pack knife set for 10$ was WAY sharper than this.

The knife is everything that you would want, very well made and a good weight. Only disappointment is that the blade doesn't come all that sharp, but when sharpened yourself it holds an edge.

Beautifully made and sturdy including the case. I'm very pleased with this amazing, stunning collectors pocket knife. Warms my heart when I look at it.

this knife looks quite stunning at first glance however the steel isnt properly tempered so it will not hold an edge, I ran a file over the back and it files the steel away no problem. the tip of the knife hits the inside of the grip bending the edge of the tip up. this is more an ornamental knife most likely made in India.

I love my purchase it's a piece of art.

I purchased this last month and would recommend buying this if you don't mind paying a little extra for quality and good service also.
