Doctor Who Yellow Dalek 8" USB Desk Protector Figure

Its a little loud for a high traffic area, but it can be silenced. Husband and kids love it! We put it by the Xbox ;)

The cat does not fear the Dalek. In fact I caught Witten on the desk rubbing her head against the bathroom plunger arm-- how useful those Daleks must have been around the BBC studios when they weren't on the set!-- while the Dalek kept threatening to Exxxxttttteeeeerrrrrrmmmmiiiiiinate her. She paid no attention.Simple to set up and all it needs to stop being annoying is a flick of the switch on the bottom. For the Dr. Who Geek in your life.

UPDATE:I thought it might be the batteries dying that stopped the noise, so I replaced them. It still does not work even with new batteries.Looks great and worked great for the first.... month. Now it doesn't make any noise.When it WAS working: A volume control would have been a nice addition as it can be loud, but it did exactly what it was meant to do. Scare people walking in the office at work.

Cute and works as promised but only has 4 sound effects and become annoying after about 10 minutes.

This is a great product for any Doctor Who fan! It's easy to use (you simply plug it in to your computer's USB port). Once the "dalek" senses motion, it says "exterminate, exterminate." Excellent at keeping nosy people away from your desk.

I got this for my boyfriend as a Christmas present since he loves Dr. Who. It does work but the motion sensor doesn't really go off like its supposed to. But he was still happy and excited about it so I guess it's fine.

Took it home for the holidays and snuck it on to the family's computer and then got them to sit and check email or something one at a time. All but one jumped with a little fright when the Dalek threatened to exterminate.

This item was a birthday gift for my 14 year old. He didn't get it for a month...man - I wish I had saved my $30 and bought ANYTHING else!!! It stopped working after just HOURS!!! I cannot believe how cheap and crappy this is! Really! It doesn't make ANY noise after HOURS!!! Don't waste your money. We buyers get messed over by lovely junk like this when we trust retailers who sell these pieces of junk. Buyer BEWARE!!!

Love it does what it says on the tin. So be prepared for a bit of abuse from co-workers if you leave it on frequently.
