One Piece: Ace's Story, Vol. 1 (One Piece Novels)

Great book. Love ONE PIECE. Came on time and in great shape.

Great little bit of filler for anyone looking to find out what Ace was up to before Luffy started his journey

HUGE ONE PIECE FAN! Loved the book!!!! We finally get to read Ace's story!! My only complaint is that it was too short, and that it is paced very quickly. It seems like this series will only be a couple more books at most :( That being said, this book is a word novel, rather than a graphic novel.... But it's AWESOME!!!! The descriptions are fantastic, the prose flows just like a tale from the One Piece universe, it FEELS canon even though it's an addition to the series. I loved reading this book, I found the characters to be genuine mirrors of their canon counterparts, and I loved how another area of the One Piece universe is being elaborated upon and built, just like so many other areas have been in the past. 10/10 Would recommend for One Piece fans (especially, especially, ESPECIALLY if Ace is one of your favorite characters!!!!) (Spoiler: There is a character named "Teach" in this book who I thought was Marshall Teach (AKA Blackbeard), but it totally isn't.)

A really great story, really liked how it ended truly recommend it’s not a long novel but the story is very interesting and we learned a lot of new things about ace that we didn’t know before, can’t wait for the manga to come out.

The book also came a little bent but that's not too surprising since I bought two other things. It's a novel so it's mostly just words instead of manga and pictures for those who may be wondering! Sorry for making the words blurry in that final picture, I can't spoil it for ya! Haha

So, I initially bought this without doing much research. Only after I received it did I realize it wasn't from Ace's point of view. It's from his first mates point of view. Also, it's an okay read. It reads as if it was written for a much younger audience which is fine, I have no problem with that, but it became difficult at times to understand what they were speaking about because the writing was mediocre. However, learning more about Ace was what I wanted, and I got just that. You learn a lot about Ace and his crew through this first book. It is only 3 chapters long, it skips through his life quite quickly, but it is full of information.

Book is really good.....Ace story has been told in this....this is first person point of view narration.....Ace is my favorite character from one piece.....it felt so bad when Ace was killed by that stupid admiral....Anyway the book is good....even paper quality is good....worth buying for collection
