Sephra Fountain-ready Premium Milk Chocolate 2lb Bag - Ideal for Melting

The media could not be loaded. We decided to have a chocolate fountain at our Christmas party. We used a rival 3-tier chocolate fountain. I did A LOT of research on chocolate. This was my first time using a fountain and my husband is a serious choco-holic! I settled on the Sephra because you didn't have to add any oil to the chocolate which was very appealing to me. I melted the chocolate in a glass bowl in the microwave despite the instructions saying to melt in the bag. The other reviews said otherwise and I tend to believe reviews. It worked perfectly! I used an 8 cup glass bowl and melted 1 bag at a time and poured it in the fountain. Worked on the first go! No problems with flow or melt. It was a HUGE hit at our party. We ended up leaving it in the fountain overnight after the party and turned it on the next afternoon for the kids. It heated up nicely and flowed just as well as the night before (but with less chocolate, of course). Don't be fooled by the other brands that sound like they are the best, they're not. And don't believe your chocolate fountain user guide when it says you can use any chocolate like chocolate chips. Do you really want to feed your guests and family over a cup of vegetable oil? Yuck! Get the Sephra, you won't be sorry.

This chocolate is amazing. Easy to use, phenomenal taste a true crowd pleaser. I bought extra bags for our chocolate fountain. We went through 6 lbs and people were scraping the sides to get whatever was left. The serving size was perfect but they product was so incredibly good, everyone wanted more and more.

I will never buy any other chocolate for my fountain. This is perfect right out of the bag - nothing to add, smooth and tasty... and I'm picky about my chocolate. I've served it with strawberries, pineapple, banana chunks, orange wedges, ruffled potato chips, pretzel sticks, marshmallows, butter cookies, wafer cookies, and krispie treat cubes. Delish. A big hit at my parties - especially with the female guests!I have a small, 18 inch fountain. One 2 lb bag will flow nicely, but you won't get the solid sheet of flowing chocolate unless you add more chocolate. I've had a little chocolate from one 2 lb bag left after my two events (one with 50 guests and one with 24 - mostly women eating... roughly 24 women at each event.) You really can't save the chocolate to reuse once it's been in the fountain so I've just used one 2 lb bag at a time.I highly recommend and like I said, I'll only buy this brand - it's just perfect for the fountain. This is my second purchase of the 4 lb. box.

It's perfect for fondue pots as well as fountains! I used this for my lovely Ruffoni hammered copper fondue pot (prettiest thing on my island) at an Oscar party and purchased 2 batches "just in case" and glad I did! The first one was easy to melt on 50% power for 2 minutes, massage, then do it again and it was ready to pour in just before the guests arrived! Simple! But later when the chocolate was burning on the bottom (user error--I had the flame too high and no water in the basin--not Sephra's fault), I had the second batch waiting in the pantry and I was able to quickly clean it out while the second bag was reheating, massage it, then pour it in, and voila! The fondue was fine and no one even noticed!! I offered pound cake, strawberries, waffle cookies, Madelines, pretzel sticks, pineapple and apricots to dip and it was the was the winner of the night (same as Brie and Leo)! It tastes creamy, chocolatey and rich. I'm never bothering with homemade fondue dip again as I've too much to do getting ready for a party! Save your energy for mixing the cocktails:)

Wow, I along with all our guest were truly impressed with how good this chocolate tasted. Even the people who claimed not to be chocolate lovers enjoyed it. Definitely worth every penny.

This chocolate is delicious. I purchased a chocolate fountain & this product (my first time doing anything like this). This chocolate does not get hard, so you’d have to add something to it if you wanna do some pre-made chocolate dipped treats. I purchased a small-medium size fountain & 2 bags of this chocolate. The 2 bags were not enough to make a nice presentation of the chocolate streaming down the fountain; it more so dripped. So keep in mind the size fountain you need covered. I think I needed 2 to 4 bags. The chocolate melted easily in the bag in the microwave, about 1 minute but it was hard to pour into the fountain once melted in the bad & there was a lot of chocolate that I could not squeeze out of the bag, so it was wasted. Come up with a better way to get the chocolate poured & you’ll be ok.

Followed the instructions on the bag. So easy to melt in the microwave, no oil needed and it worked beautifully in my fountain. Also, absolutely delicious chocolate! Tastes like quality

When I received the chocolate it was completely melted and pure liquid , it was not in the nice little round morsels. It hardened into a large chunk of chocolate that was hard to break apart for melting. Other then that they flavor was good. I do live in Florida, cooler climates might not have a problem with the chocolate melting in transit.
