Borden & Riley #25G Glassine Paper Roll, 25 lb., 12" x 20 Yards per Roll, White, 1 Roll Each (25GR122000)

This is good quality glassine paper that I use for wrapping and protecting artworks during shipping or storage. The 48 inch wide roll is very useful for larger items. Recommended!

It took me a long time to find this product. I remembered "glassine" pages from the stamp-collecting day sof my use. All the 'serious" stamp collectors had them. Turns out they are good for vintage photo collectors too. They help separate photos and ephemera that are on opposing pages in an album, allowing you still to see both pages without a divider. They are also very thin so do not use up much space. I strongly endorse this product. It is the correct thickness and sturdiness for separating photos/paper/ephemra so as the binder shifts around the items on opposing pages don't rub + damage each other! Use these between your pages and you won't need a plastic "pouch" to protect each item. BTW these glassines look good on black paper. I use a big paper cutter to cut mine but you can use scissors as well to fit it to your needs.

I purchased this because I saw a video about "moving paintings" and how to protect your oil painting and packing your precious art. Well, I'm a painter of BIG oil art canvases and don't know how to transport my paintings across the country... this glassine paper doesn't stick to oils, and if you get the special tape to hold it over your art - it's a win win. I only needed 1 60x50 to cover 12+ of my painting (large). Happy I got this product

These are excellent quality papers. I use them to separate all my oil pastels and pencil or charcoal drawings.

This glassine paper roll is a game-changer for my pastel artwork! I use it to protect areas I've already completed from smudging, and it works flawlessly. The paper is thin enough to allow for precise application, yet sturdy enough to prevent color lifting when removed. A must-have for any pastel artist!

Recently started to use this, after I finished my back stock of (cheaper quality) glassine. I am very satisfied with brand. It’s extremely high quality, silky smooth texture, and easy to use.

This paper will work well for protecting my watercolor art. I can size and make my own envelopes with it to put finished pieces in to gift or store. Product says it has UV light protection and will protect from dust and dirt.
