Seems well made and sturdy, though I haven't taken it hiking yet. Lots of pockets and storage options.Update to my review-After a few months of use this is a great pack and an outstanding value. Very comfortable when full. Absolutely no quality issues. Rain cover worked like a charm. Highly recommend this for day trips.

This is a very nice pack. I bought it because it’s very light and holds a lot of stuff when traveling or hiking. I traveled through parts of Africa and it worked great. When I returned home, I washed it on a gentle cycle and it came out looking brand new. I would highly recommend.
