This has been a perfect accessory as a breastfeeding & pumping mom. At first, I was just happy to have the extra bottles. It was nice not to have to wash the only two Ameda bottles that come with the pump. Having extras meant I could store milk in bottles in the fridge if I wanted and that was great for when baby stayed home with daddy and needed some milk. I wasn't sure I really needed the whole kit and thought maybe I should have just purchased extra bottles. Once I started taking my little one to daycare, it became an essential! I am SOOO glad I have this!!! I can put the milk and blue ice in the zipper bag, put it in the diaper bag with diapers and drop it off at daycare with no worries. It will fit 6 bottles OR 2-3 bottles with a Tommy Tippee bottle inside (sideways). My caregiver puts the whole cube into the fridge (easy) and when I pick up baby, the ice packs are still semi-frozen and the milk is nice and cold. Concessions: It's true, the ice packs take up a lot of space. Other than the bottles, not that much else fits. I hoped I could fit my pump parts in there to store in the fridge between pumps at work. Nope. Nice try. Oh well. That's not what it was designed for. The cube shape didn't fit into my purse or my medium (cute) diaper bag. Only the long, big one, which I send to dayare anyway. Overall, it felt kinda expensive when I bought it, but I'm glad I did because I use it every day.

This is honestly one of my favorite products I have bought! It is a GREAT size! When you have so schlep breast pump gear to work every day, size makes a huge difference. It is compact, yet still holds 6 bottles. If you are a super heavy milk producer, this may not work for you. I would say I was average (pump about 6-8 oz per session) and this was perfect for me. I love that it has 3 cooling units. I am lucky enough to have a refrigerator at work, but when I traveled, my milk stayed very cool the entire day until I was able to get home and get it in the fridge. I'm guessing that the two-part lid is so you can add a nipple directly to the bottle without having to transfer the milk (which I never did). I would have preferred a 1-pc lid, but after a while, I got used to it and it really didn't make a difference. I have also used the bottles in the freezer, and they worked fine. Very versatile product and SOOO convenient when pumping! I've used it for several months now and it is still in perfect shape. I'm planning to use it for a lunch container when I am through pumping. Very highly recommend this product!

I ordered this item because I was traveling for a few days and the bottles/cooler that came with my Medela Pump in Style didn't provide enough storage. The bottles are compatible with the pump, making things simple. The entire bag fits into a hotel mini-fridge. The cooler and ice packs kept the frozen milk cold for a 10 hour travel day. Two small complaints: the cooler bag does not easily fit into the existing carrying case for the Medela Pump in Style (too wide). You will have to carry separately instead of stashing them together. Second, the bottles are smaller than those provided with the pump. They will only hold 4-5oz, compared to about 6oz. Overall, it worked out well for my trip and it was well worth the purchase to bring back an additional 30oz.

Bought this for the wife and have heard of no complaints. Let's get into it: Pros: - Three ice packs that are held down by straps on three sides of the storage box, so you're getting equal cooling on pretty much every side. - Large enough to carry multiple bottles - Although the storage box is fairly thin, we've found that it keeps bottles cool for an exceptional amount of time. More than enough for a long commute to/from work without worrying or vacations or similar. Keeps it cool even in high heat. - Ice packs appear to be durable. After seven months of freeze/thaw/refreeze, there have been no cracks or problems. - In looking at similar products, this is very fairly priced. - Bottles included are durable and create a good seal. - BPA free! Cons: - Usually I can nitpick and find a few errors in products here or there, but I really can't here. It's a basic system that does what it intends to do. At the pricepoint, I can't find a fault.

This was exactly what I was looking for, a portable cooler to keep milk after pumping and it was really good quality.

I love almost everything about this product. It came labeled BPA free on the insert so I was thrilled with that. I pump each day at work and my company has a fridge. After leaving it in the fridge all day it still keeps milk cool until 7pm in the evening. The lids on these bottles also fit my lasinoh bottles so I don't have to worry about keeping each separate. The cooler bag doesn't have any wear and tear on it and I've been using it for two months now. My ONLY issue is that once the milk has been in the fridge for a few days the thickened cream is more difficult than my lasinoh bottles to get disolved off the insides of the bottles. I'm talking swirling it for 5+ minutes. Some bottles even seem to have a repeat "stubborn" spot. The solution I have found works best is setting the bottles out for about 5 minutes while doing other tasks and allowing the sides to warm up some. Then it only takes a minute to swirl the cream off. This is a minor enough irritant that I would definitely buy again.

I have been using this for 6 months now and find it make commuting and pumping much easier. It fits right into my pumping bag (Ameda Purely Yours) along with my simple wishes pumping bra. Meaning everything is in one bag. I the remove the icepacks once at the office and place then in the freezer, when it's time to head home I pack everything back up. This has along gone on a few overnight and day trips with me and works well. One freezer pack has busted with a small hole, but I just keep it in a ziploc it seems to do okay. Still going strong. Now being used with a toddler as mini snack box, carries lunch lunches and milk when we are out for the day, amusement park or traveling. Still one of absolute favorite purchases. Update: first write my review in 2017 and it's now 2019. My first set is still going strong. Have since used it for another child and more commuting. We also use it for road trips and snacks when not needed for transporting the liquid gold. This is a must for any commuting momma.

This cooling bag was highly recommended by my brother-in-law as their breastmilk did not thaw for a trans-Pacific flight of over 17 hours. I bought this before I went back to work. Out of all the cooling bags I have (I have the Medela cooling bag, Avent cooling bag, and some other brands), I always come back to this bag and my bag for going on business trips. I do not use the Ameda bottles that come with the bag. Rather, I use my Medela bottles so that I do not have to change bottles for LO when I get home. I can fit easily 4 x 150 ml Medela bottles or 3 x 250 Medela storage bottles. The nice ice packs keeps the milk cool the whole day. When I go on business trips, I usually put the ice packs with the milk bags and the bag fits about two days worth of milk in milk bags. It manages to keep the milk cool until I get home from my trips. One good thing about this bag is that it is not bulky like the others but still does a great job in keeping the milk cool.
