Well made, light weight, sturdy case
Bought for a series of quick trips between NYC, Phoenix, Atlanta, Charleston and Orlando. rolled it everywhere without issues. internal storage and straps are well designed and even when overstuffed it held tight. The multitude of designs and colors give you a very good chance to pick something unique to help when you search for it on the baggage return.

Sturdy luggage; stands out from the crowd
I purchased this 3-piece luggage set prior to going on a ski trip. Upon arrival, this luggage set seemed to be of much higher quality than the hard side luggage I had considered purchasing from Costco at the same price point. It was flexible vs hard plastic, the surface is slightly textured as if the fibers are woven, and it was slightly wider. I made the assumption that because of the material difference, this would be less likely to crack or scratch, so we decided to keep this set and returned the other. The material and graphite color also looks more expensive and stands out on the baggage carousel. After stuffing the luggage, I had to sit on the lid to close it and had visions of my the contents exploding all over the tarmac. But I couldn't leave any of my clothes at home, so I decided to risk it. Four flights later, my trip was complete. I had no burst zippers, no scratches, no nicks, no issues at all. I also had no issue with the size of the carry on piece. The luggage still looks brand new. Since then, the smallest piece has gone on 3 more trips and continues to look and perform like new. I am a frequent traveller and this is the longest I've had a piece of luggage continue to look new. I'm sure wheels will break and nicks will happen as they do with all luggage after rough handling, but I believe these will last longer than a normal fabric suitcase and I think I made the right choice to purchase this over the typical plastic hard side luggage.

Keep looking….
I ordered this luggage set a few years ago and, initially, I was very fond of them. They seemed to be well constructed, smooth to roll, and they were very nice looking. Although the small and medium sizes have held up - mainly because I have barely used them - the large size had a wheel break off within about year of me having it, with the only one actual use being in an airport. When I submitted a claim with the company who makes the product (as the tags said when I originally purchased), it took a while but they eventually sent me a new large size, which came in a different style and color because they didn’t have the style I had in stock. Not really a huge deal, but pretty frustrating since I purchased the matching set for them all to match… but I digress. I think since then, I have maybe used that new one once or twice in an airport setting (I don’t travel much) and one wheel is already broken off again. I know it largely has to do with how aggressive the airlines are with the bags, which is why I’m leaving two stars, but I know people who travel a whole lot more than I do who have had bags for years and years with no issues like this. The structural integrity of these bags seems to be pretty poor if out of the two large bags I have received from them, with MAYBE five uses between the two (and that’s me being generous), that they both have had wheels broken off and some small cracks in the outside shell. Because of this, I’ll probably donate the medium and small bags that are not broken and purchase a new set elsewhere in hopes to avoid this aggravation again. Again, I know it has a lot to do with the airlines throwing the bags all around, but this must also be taken into account when the products are being manufactured. Hopefully others who have purchased these bags have had better luck with theirs holding up, and I am grateful for the company for sending me a new bag when it broke initially, but I would rather have a better quality product that lasts.

The suitcase for your needs
I was very nervous about purchasing this luggage set, as I have only ever used fabric luggage. However, the luggage I had was from the 90', and not very physically appealing. I am going to France to teach, and wanted something a little more stylish. I am SO happy with this purchase! I love the metallic look, its not as obnoxious as brightly colored luggage, but it's easy to pick out on the luggage line. The wheels roll easily and they are so easy to pack! I took the medium sized one on a weekend writing retreat (I'm an overpacker, I could've gotten away with the small one), and it held up so well! I just finished packing for France, using the large suitcase and small one. I love that the small one is approved as a carryon on international flights, so I don't have to worry about checking another piece of luggage. I purchased a luggage strap to connect my checked and carry-on suitcases, and from what I can tell so far, it'll work out great. I'll post an update upon my return. The only downside that I noticed the other day when packing is that there are some white stretch marks on the corner of the large one. I don't know what it's from since I haven't used it yet, but I tested it with some pressure and it didn't cave at all, so it shouldn't be a problem. I especially love that the one side is zippered - makes it easy to open and close, and it's nice to separate my clothing from my shoes and toiletries. Overall, I would DEFINITELY purchase again! I looked at several other suitcase sets, and this one won on all accounts. I couldn't be happier!

Awesome set! Great price!
I was pleasantly surprised when my luggage arrived yesterday. This set is much better quality than it's price reflects. The carbon color is really nice and I will have no problem spotting my luggage on the carousel. The large bag is huge and roomy but not heavy. I've already recommended the set to two friends. You can't find a better hardside luggage set for the money!

Pretty sturdy suitcases
I've brought the 28 and 24" suitcases from San Jose to Toronto and they've held up perfectly fine so far. No scratches, no cracks, no broken wheels. I saw the baggage being handled with care from looking out the airplane window. The only problem I have with these suitcases are that the handles don't stay up very well, they fall back in even if you don't push the button. Other than that they are quite sturdy. Edit: I realized after being handled through the airport one of the feet on the side of the suitcase (not the wheels) have broken off... Hopefully nothing else breaks on my trip back.

DO NOT BUY THIS LUGGAGE!!!!!
I was very happy when I received my luggage set, looks very nice and exspensive and seemed well constructed and tough, BUT!! After the very 1st use the large and the medium luggage I checked in were both cracked 2 to 3 inches on the corners completely all the way through, I couldn`t believe it. Looks are deceiving. This luggage will not hold up whatsoever even after one flight, much better to go with a material luggage set, not the hard plastic ones like these. I returned my broken luggage for a full refund. Be smart and stay away from the hard plastic luggage, they might look nice but all in all you will be wasting your money. In this case you get what you pay for....

Rocking Rockland Luggage!
I had been shopping for a new polycarbonate luggage set for about three weeks when this gem of a set came up in my Amazon search. I got an amazing deal (truly) from the seller and am thrilled with it. I chose the Blackfiber color and it is perfectly lovely . . . and will be very easy to distinguish when I am trying to locate it at the airport. It's well-made, lightweight, and the set nests which makes it great for easy storage at home.
