This product is REALLY cool! It's a gift for my father-in-law, a retired professor, and he'll love it! Buy this for any scientist, or scientist in training in your family!I looked at a LOT of versions, many cheaper, but this is the ONLY legitimate Acrylic Periodic Table of Elements which looks as good as the picture.My only recommendation? Grab a magnifying glass or a small magnifying lens to take a REALLY good look at each sample. They're small but it's fun to rotate the cube around and see each sample from all sides.Seriously, if you're buying this, buy a magnifying glass so you can really SEE the samples up close and personal.Don't fall for a scam and buy a cheap knockoff, buy this one and get the real deal! I can't wait to give this to my FIL!Side note, my recommendation to the seller is to include a small magnifying glass in every package if possible. Really cool samples! I purchased the 83 elements version for my nephew. Living in Europe the price (shipping and taxes ) made it a rather expensive present. When I received i realised that it is worth the price. It is not just a gadget. This symbolises the alphabet of the universe. Very inspiring for a young man.The same day i ordered the slightly larger version (85 elements) for me :-). Even more expensive as adding the taxes and shipping to Belgium it is more than $400. Still worth it.

My high schooler son wanted this so badly! He loves learning about the elements and Chemistry. So after receiving some cash for Christmas, he decided to purchase this periodic table display. It arrived in the mail yesterday in perfect condition -- my son's eyes lit up when he first saw it. He has probably spent an hour, so far, meticulously analyzing each element with a magnifying glass (you can still see each element with the naked eye, but he just wanted to get a magnified view). This product is of amazing quality! The elements inside this display are REAL. I am not a science person, but I have also enjoyed looking at all of the elements in this display! Only buy from this seller. They are the real deal. Made in the USA!!! Comes with a nice protective cloth case and element guide. Also comes with a certificate of authenticity. This display is definitely worth the cost. It is something my son will enjoy for years to come!

I order this as a Christmas gift for my older son who is a math and science kid. The quality of the piece is excellent; the printing is very sharp and the acrylic very clear. It also comes with a little certificate of authenticity and a short description of how each sample was treated. But having a sample of all of the elements (with the exception of the radioactive ones) arrayed before you in the chart is just wicked cool. When the chart is turned sideways you can see the width of all the samples - so neat - I don’t know maybe you have to really like chemistry to get how awesome this is but it is wicked cool. Those cheap knock offs that just have a picture of the elements don’t even hold a candle to this table.

I am very happy with this product, it is like a miniature work of art! I chose this myself for my wife to give me on my birthday. I saw an ad for a cheap, knock-off version, and liked the idea. Fortunately I did my research and discovered that I would not have been happy with the cheaper rendition. At that time, I discovered and ordered the original, U.S.A. made version of the periodic table. I could not be more pleased with the product. I was prepared for the smallish size of the table, and did not find this to be a distraction and it makes it easier to handle. A magnifier (especially a smart phone app) is extremely useful. It now sits in my china cabinet on a plate display. Well worth the price - beware of cheap knock-offs.

I am so happy with this product overall. There are some scratches on the epoxy, and small faint scratches all over. With that said I just think it could have be packaged better. The product is awesome and will still spend plenty of time on my desk!

I was nervous to buy this item, because I got duped by a cheap counterfeit, previously. However, this was the real thing! It is absolutely beautiful! All of the elements that are not too dangerous or too expensive are *really* there! More than 80 different elements, even uranium and thorium! I am so incredibly pleased! I have it proudly displayed on my desktop in my home office. If you like science & chemistry or know someone who does - this is *perfect* for you or for them!

This was worth the price to get the high quality. Other sellers' versions are sloppy and poorly made. This company goes to the effort to make it perfect and worthy of a really nice gift.
