Introduction to Counting & Probability and Introduction to Counting & Probability Solutions Manual (the Art of Problem Solving)

As a mathematician myself, it is clear to me that schools teach math the wrong way. While I am not saying that there is a right or best way to teach math, it seems clear to me that one can learn math only by doing it. And that means to tackle problems before one has learned a method to solve them. The adventure of mathematics is to discover for yourself. So one should start with problems to solve and only then develop a problem solving method as one goes along solving problems. And this is exactly what the AoPS series is doing. It is clear right from the start that these books were written by mathematicians, not by math teachers. Maybe it is not perfect, but so far I have not seen a better book. These books are also a good complement to Khan academy, which is great to revise the syllabus and to prepare for exams, but is bad if you want to get a taste of the adventure of mathematics.

The item name implies it includes both the main textbook and manual. But it is just manual book. I tried to return it but never answered to my return request.
